Zootopia is a very good movie.

[For one, it was hilarious. The DMV part I'd seen in a trailer before, but the bootleg DVDs, the shrew mob boss, and the nudist compound split my sides. For two, the theme was well-done; I had to pause multiple times during the press conference because I could see exactly how bad it was going to be and could do nothing to stop it. For three, I called the sheep lady being the main villain pretty early, though it wasn't hard to guess if you were paying attention to the subversion of stereotypes.]

Overall a very well put-together movie: luscious backgrounds, likable leads, hilarious jokes, good thematic followthrough and foreshadowing. No wonder Zootopia won whatever award it was that it won that I don't recall because I wasn't paying attention at the time.
