I assume the cameo is a setup for volume 2.

Is Latio affiliated with Atlas? I'm basing this off the hat design and the color scheme and no more.
The blurb summary for this volume said Atlas and the Wandering Sea were involved, so probably.
El-Melloi II and Gray visit Singapore during the summer for a lecture at the Clock Tower branch.
In this country where various cultures are mixed, they meet a young man by the name of Ergo. The Sixth Source of Atlas appears in pursuit of the mysterious young man. What is the ancient experiment conducted by the Atlas Institute, the Wandering Sea Baldanders, and other magi? And what is the name of the God that El-Melloi II will ask?

かん汗ぎゅう牛じゅう充とう棟
Expresses the exceeding size of one's library.
Books are extremely many, loaded on an oxcart the ox will sweat.
At home piled to the ridgepole of the house, from this meaning.
Read out as 「Ushi ni ase shi, munagi ni mitsu.」

Gray puts Rin at around 20.
Waver also says that Modern Magecraft is so sufficiently staffed he doesn't see a point in continuing to lecture where as in CF there was only Waver and old man emeritus Shardan teaching.
So a few years.

me: hmph, pathetic. Trying to win me over with tired callbacks again, eh? UGH! I am above such pandering.

UBW route canon confirm
BEHOLD! THE SIG OF GOLDEN TRUTH! Pillaged from McJon, Tsukikan et al.
[QUOTE=Reign;3100559]Sanda's afterword says it's following an original route, but I assume that's so he can stay vague about what did and didn't actually happen.

Yeah, quite like strange fake. Something happened in fuyuki in 2004, dont ask much details. But unlike SF, Rin is there , things have to be referenced sooner or later
Given that Shirou is in London, I can see a lot of people arguing that it's post UBW
Actually, I forget what happens to him in Fate in between the Grail War and being zapped into Avalon

Tho really regardless of the route the same things broadly happen. The real teller would be whether or not Shinji is alive (since I don't think Ilya would live for an extra three years anyway)
I was expecting the usual song and dance where they only mention Rin so they can continue with the "ambiguous timeline in the clothes of alternate timeline" thing, so I'm impressed they actually went with Shirou hanging around Rin, if only offscreen.
Now, if they actually let Illya appear, that would be really impressive.

Its very possible that he went to london in Fate. He and in Rin just arent lovers, but if this is really an original rute, the discussion is pointless
The truth is it looks like UBW in all but name, but tey will not say it so it have more freedom and is not the sequel to an origina rute in a spin off of a zero supporting character . I really wonder if we will see how Sakura is doing , that coul settle a very old dicsussion, but maybe they will just not touch the subject
