Interesting how Van Fem first appears invisible. Is that a precaution on his part? And pretty neat about that window turning sunlight into moonlight conceptually.

Ok I'll admit it. Finding out that Kiritsugu is the reason why modern mages have a self-defense class, and that said class includes lessons on his standard tactics is hilarious and made my night.
I did always wonder why the Clock Tower had PE class.
I've also wondered before if Blackmore is Gray's official last name, cool to finally get an answer.
I wonder if there's any relationship to EXTRA's Dan Blackmore.
Oh, maybe this is a good time to ask. So, I was discussing TM lore with a friend who's somewhat dipped their toes in it, and like... we decided, although maybe our perspective was wrong - if magi can do something as complicated as forgoing breathing, eating, sleeping, using the bathroom for extended periods of time, they... should be able to simulate the effects of exercise without exercising, right? I'm concerned that we were approaching the problem as two Sports Science Enthusiasts rather than appreciating the Deep RL Magic History-based Lore behind why they can control all those other bodily functions, but not getting and staying fit.
tl;dr do you think magi NEED to exercise to be exercised, I guess

I'm pretty sure they do. The Church's training regime is extremely demanding to the degree Noel doesn't think she'd survive it again.
Most Association magi are bookworms though, so they just don't train as hard.
The priest was waiting for the arrival of the princess, who was only an enemy of all of them.
For the priest, the golden princess was the one and only main heroine.
Everyone else was unworthy of his respect, no matter how strong they were.

That depends on whether Reinforcement comes with a six-pack

Iirc, reinforcement has a physical cost for less adept mages, so unless you're the person equivalent of a show poodle, working out would probably have more benefits than just leaning on your magecraft, right? We just get a lot of examples of mages who are themselves some special kind of freak, but there's also plenty examples of the narrative then saying "and they did this all without magecraft, because they're so physically adept and strong and cool."
I always imagined reinforcement worked kind of like an adrenaline response you could actually control, personally.

I always thought Reinforcement had a better effect the more physically fit you were, which is why people like Luvia and Rin train so hard.
