Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.

"Only in my company, will you not be a monster"
anywhere than here
But this is set in England tho, it's the Asians that are the foreigners.

Most of the asian characters in this (that I've seen, I'm not on volume 4-5 yet) are pretty "foreign" looking though, look at Hishiri and Seigen
rip

The volume initially starts off after Rail Zeppelin with Reines then talking to Gray about the circumstances that brought Waver to the town/cemetery where they met Gray (and also where they met Zepia residing in a cabin over there as a guest).
Waver had Reines earlier so she didn't get to see all of what happened that made Waver take Gray to London, so her knowledge of the story ends halfway in the volume.
However, Waver recalls something that Zepia said back then that made him he was connected to the mastermind of the last volume, so both he and Gray go back to the cemetery, find nobody there, also find Zepia still there, who then activate the Atlas weapon which makes the two of them experience a recreation of the past.
Holy shit
