God, Casm of the abyss- freaky stuff and didn't get a single hit on manus before I died. I really think that I need more HP at this point. I spent the last 5 levels on faith so I could cast light but turns out it's an int spell- argg! Is there a cleric version of cast light and if so where is it. If it's from that cleric guy in firelink, can you swap between covenants freely, without loosing the progress you have made with one? I've put a lot of humanity into daughter of chaos and I want that other firespell and a shortcut to lost Izalaith.

When you swap Covenants you lose half of the progress you've made, I believe. There aren't any faith spells for light, and I don't think light helps in the abyss anyway. You could always use the head maggot or the necromancer's lantern.

I'm pretty sure that he only appears for a little while on that particular day.

If you're under leveled, then you probably need to try again on a new play through.

apparently when I'm drunk and out of anime I like to play puzzle games. Huniepop better be much more challenging than I see right now if Drunk-Off-His-Ass Mattias can play it well enough that he can max out a character, or else I'll be disappointed when I'm sober. I might as well do it if it's a fun boss fight. I'm pretty powerful and there is an amazing grinding spot in the painted world.

Okay I think I may be slightly overlevelled- sitting about level 79 and I haven't done any of the 3 areas required to beat the game. I think I'm am coming relatively close to beat almost all the bosses though, just ploughed through the two guys in the demon ruins.
