Finished AI: The Somnium Files. I've never played this guy's other games but know their reputation. Honestly this was mostly ok. The mystery became very convoluted by the end but I liked the characters. Mizuki and Aiba were cute.

Difference is Ryza is super fun, FGO is a chore
Ryza is perfection in simplicity, Lila is too cluttered and trying too hard to be fetishy. Though Lilas 3D model doesnt do her justice, she looks better in the 2D art.
Picked up Yakuza 0 a few days ago, after I nabbed it in the sale.
Why have I not played this before. It's the perfect mix of over the top drama and over the top ridiculous shenanigans.
It's like if Grand Theft Auto was good again, and also had more to do than just murder people.

21 hours later and I just finished CS3 first chapter. This game is so long and I love it.Also I bought a Switch and got Fire Emblem Three Houses. So far so good.

Spoiler:
Yakuza 0 had best villains based on real actors known for Yakuza role and voiced by themselves.
my favorite is Shibusawa because he doesn't look like yakuza compared to Kuze or Awano but still intimidating.
also his dragon tattoo.
I will never learn that game, no matter how many Saki spinoffs come out.
I might have had that opinion if the combat didn't show up every thirty seconds and wasn't complete and utter garbage.
I've never modded a game on its first playthrough in my life, but if there was an improvement to the combat system or even a goddamn skip function I'd probably do it just to get it out of the way of my enjoyment of what would otherwise be a 10/10 game.
Awano's hilariously over the top, I'd have a lot more sympathy for Kuze if he weren't such a little bitch (I mean, really, you've just been schooled by your own underling like three times, just stay the fuck down and how are you not demoted already), and Shibusawa's that quiet competent menacing dude who let his rivals do the stupid and stumble around in the dark, only to avoid their pitfalls.
Also, I love the way dudes get shot and then two hours later are not only in tip top shape, they take off their shirts only to reveal they have healing powers that close bullet wounds later the same day.

Yo why does IRL autumn suck so hard when autumn themed video game maps are kino? The autumn forest in Ryza is sooooo good...
i cant agree on this at all, i think the gameplay is a lot of fun. But 0 actually does have an avoid combat feature, but i dont remember when you unlock it.
It's fun-ish, but fuck if I don't have a ton of complaints about it.
How often the enemies show up. It feels like I'm back in Pokemon walking through tall grass with a fucking Rattata showing up every five tiles. I can't turn a damn corner without another set of arseholes yelling "HeY tHaT'S kIrYu GeT hIm". In missions, it's every bit as bad, even if a little more tolerable because it feels like it's building up to something. Corridor. Five dudes. Room. Seven dudes. Corridor. Five dudes. Slightly further down the same corridor. Five dudes. Eventually, boss.
Hyper armour on bosses & minibosses, seemingly at random. Sure, just break out of my combo and knock me to the ground in one hit, I don't mind, go right ahead.
The rules aren't clear. 20 hours in, I still have no clue why I'm sometimes able to put up my block or dodge in the middle of their combos, and sometimes they'll just keep perma-stunning me, and vice versa.
The dodge and block are both bad, and every fighting style seemingly has their own rules regarding these, none of which are explained.

PlayingHideo Kojima's Death Stranding"The Postman Always Rings Twice (Even in the Apocalypse)".
A roadtrip from the east coast of America to the west coast as the world is ending. It's a very cosy game - Well, when the Undead aren't trying to kill you anyways.

^ Can't comment on the whole game yet, but after 5 hours in it's pretty straight-laced Dystopian Sci-Fi future stuff. Nothing too crazy nor wacky like we've seen in MGS so far.
Honestly the out of context footage in the trailers made it seem a whole lot more bizarre than it has been so far.
