it's fun to watch Death Stranding gameplay because everybody are different.
some do jobs like it should, some focus on exploration and some doing sim city.
Binged Disco Elysium over the past couple of days. If you've ever wanted to roleplay an alcoholic wreck in the shape of a police detective, boy do I have good news for you.
I didn't find quite as good as some of the more raving reviewers (core gameplay loop is pretty much CYOA/VN with dice checks, way too much running around with no way to take a shortcut) but it's certainly a unique experience. As someone else put it, "you put points into your stats to inform the game about how you want your character to be and your stats talk to you to tell you about what your character is." It's a testament to the game's writing that by midgame you won't even bat an eyelash as your Volition (think "willpower") berates your Electrochemistry (think "pleasure cortex") for piping up when someone mentions drugs during the investigation. Each of the 24 skills you can level has its own unique voice that provides insights (and distractions) during the investigation, and it really boosts the game's replayability how the many different combinations alter what you can say and do to advance the case (much to the chagrin of completionists like me). It's not "a successor to Planescape:Torment" as many have lauded it to be (though the inspiration is definitely there), but it's definitely worth a playthrough. Or two.

Ive been playing Rise of the Tomb Raider. It becomes rather thrilling when you're playing in Survivor difficulty.
Finished Judgment. Ahhhhhhh what an EPIC final chapter for an EPIC game! Hoooleee shieeet that was hype.
Definitely up there with Y0 as my fave RGG studio game.
I preordered the physical copy of Mary Skelter 2. To tide me over, should I:
1. Get Maggot Baits.
2. Get the Switch version of Dragon Quest 11.
3. Wait Venus Blood Frontier to come out on the 20th of this month.
is mechwarrior 5 worth it?
Started playing the recently released Sakura Wars fantranslation while passing time until Baldr Skys release. Gonna have myself a nice mecha VN themed winter holiday.
I started playing MHW on the PC. It's actually a lot more fun than I remember the PSP ones being, possibly a byproduct of me not sucking as much almost ten years later.

Finished Code Vein. It was alright, though incredibly easy for a soulslike. I imagine it would've been more difficult if you don't use a companion but the boss/enemy design didn't really entice me enough to intentionally screw myself.
Character/story were just basic anime game shit but at least the girls are cute. Io best girl. when your waifu becomes a tree, feels bad man
My, my, I didn't expect Maggot Baits to force me to check up on history, like Dies Irae does. I know Yaldabaoth, Judas, and Solomon, but Simon of Samaria is a new one for me.
Got myself Baldr Sky, Bokuten and a big bunch of VN "guilt purchases", ie. VNs ive pirated and enjoyed a long time ago, back when they were either fanTLs or because I was young and lacking in moolah.
Immensely hype for Baldr Sky, but it will have to wait a little longer though cause Ive been enjoying Sakura Wars a lot.
I finally managed to end the cycle of World of warships/Dark souls, now I'm back to God eater 2 too (along with the other two).
I SWEAR THAT NOW I WILL FINISH THAT DAMN GAME, FOR ALISA!
Oh yeah, God Eater 2... yeah... definitely a game that someone should finish at some point.

So I'm playing Detective Pikachu. Really easy game, but if there's one thing I like is how they have integrated Pokemon in the daily life of people. It does a much better job than the main Pokemon games honestly. Worth it if you like immersing yourself in the world of Pokemon.
Holy shit.
How is Shadow of War so much worse than its predecessor?
I heard all sorts of shit about its garbage monetisation when it released, but I didn't hear that they actually somehow managed to turn what was a set of fantastic systems into some really shitty ones.
