Someone roped me into checking out EVE Online again. God, all the spreadsheet simulator jokes don't even do justice to how...formulaic? Number-crunchy? this game is.

Starting to reach 50% myself now, and yeah you werent kidding. Its just a nonending barrage of huge twists. I feel like at this point i have the pieces to start trying to put a little something together but the massive amount of puzzle pieces this game juggles is so overwhelming im drowning in them instead and just sit with my mouth hanging open like a zombie. What a glorious game.
Yet there's still things some plot twists you can call ahead of time, like what's going on with Juro's "that one Guy", Or my guesses that Megumi, Gouto or Shu. Then there's all the shipping, You basically need one of the old Ranma charts to sort out all the love triangles, and that's not even taking in the future versions.

I feel like a 5 year old handing a terrible drawing to their mom all proud and shit when i solve one detail and the game just throws another new twist, not to mention my idea of the big picture is still vaguely connected details.
Wow, there already? Isn't it a 60 hour RPG?

Sleep is for the weak
EDIT: a slightly more expansive answer is since I stayed up most of the night Tuesday and Wednesday watching the election results I needed something to do besides refresh 538.
that and normal mode is usually still pretty difficult in a Trails game but either they nerfed it or my prediction for might makes right style of over leveling went a little overboard because by the end of the game I stomped everything into a thin red paste.
hell I was grooving to the thong song watching the final boss’s HP bar drain waiting for him to ascend to his final form and give me a real fight. Right around the time he started doing that glowy explosion animation I realized he wasn’t gonna.
Of the three Trails games I've played that seems to be the general outcome. The hardest boss isn't the final, but the one that shows up at 60%, before you have the game properly broken. I think the only time I died late game was in CS1 against the Loa and that's only because I ate two of the whole field one shot kill Arts in a row before I could heal up. On the other hand the Phantom in the castle, the Zepher mercs and Sandlot all wrecked me over and over until I scummed them out.

Me hitting about 80% in 13 Sentinels
That means you're about to go through Gotou now. They're really going to have to work to make me care about that guy, but if any game can do it, it's this one.

Phew, finally completed "Ghost of Tsushima" and got the Platinum Trophy.
That was an amazing game: smooth gameplay, lovable characters and gorgeous visuals. Sucker Punch really outdid themselves at the twilight days of the PS4. I am certainly curious to see if SP will make a sequel given the antagonist swore that more will come and the fact that Tsushima was attacked again during the second attempted Mongol Invasion of Japan. I would certainly play it.

Well, a few weeks ago Sucker Punch put out a hiring notice for writers with proficiency in Japanese history. So chances of a sequel are pretty high, as long as society doesn't collapse in because of a Covid resurgence.

Iceborne is fun, time to drop another 500 hours in this just in time to watch the endgame die again.

Finished 13 sentinels. Absolutely loved it, vanillawares magnum opus. ending gave feels.
Played Rance 3 and 4.
Rance 3: that crisp 1991 eroge gameplay, complete shitfest but at least its easily cheesable. Story is honestly quite good, and it introduces a lot of the key aspects of the Rance world, like the Helman Empire, Demon Lords and the Demon King, videogamey stuff as part of the lore (levels, level caps, skills). Good game.
Rance 4: huge leap forward in graphics, honestly think the game is beautiful in that 90s chara design pixel graphics sense. Gameplay is better than 3, but also worse cause its still not good but this time around not cheesable and really tedious. Story itself is average but its got some spicy lore about the war against the demon lords. Not that good game.
Can't decide between the 3:
Bloodstained - and wait for playable Bloodless
Conan Exiles - after reinstalling Steam
Sakuna
Haven't heard good things about that Conan MMO, but Bloodstained is really good.
