So I've been playing this recently...

I realised that I had a bunch of Digimon games I bought but never got around to playing so I thought I'd start fixing that. Starting with just having beat "Digimon World: Next Order" - well the main story anyways, I'll probably take a break before tackling the post-game stuff.

Really good and full of nostalgia goodness. Even if the ENG dub was a bit cringey, I did enjoy hearing a lot of the old voice actors reprising their roles such as Richard Epcar doing an Elvis impression once again for Etemon like back in Adventure or Mari Devon as Taomon like in Tamers. The gameplay was definitely streamlined from the original Digital World making it much more manageable to raise the Digimon you want in a shorter amount of time. The gameplay wasn't perfect, but most of the problems I had could be traced back to it being a port of a PS Vita game. If they do make another World game then hopefully they'll put it either on the Switch or Consoles so that they can make it even better. Overall I had a really good time. <3

So my Switch's right joycon has been intermittently drifting lately.

My brother had the same issue with his. Apparently it went away when he took it apart to put one of those custom Atomic Purple covers on it, so if you're confident in your abilities, give that a try. Or just buy a pro controller.

Digimon World 1 is one of my fondest ps1 memories but I couldnt get into Next Order at all. If they ever make another World game in the style of 1 they need to completely revamp the battle system, it doesnt work anymore. Actually it never worked, but 1 was just so full of soul it overshadowed the flaws.

The chara designs and 2D illustrations were stellar though, Taiki too good.

I have fond memories of playing Digimon World Dusk on my DS. To this day the Lunamon line remains one of my favorites.

Don't take my words tho, I played it back when I was in highschool and really craving for Digimon World 1 nostalgia. Objectively, it has less content than Next Order.

Also, there is that one channel that remaking Digimon World 1 in Unreal Engine.

There's not many people even with NA server release because of Microsoft exclusive and how shit microsoft store is

It turn out that I need to go to different ship to see more people. Now level 66 and now I can beat Super Hard quest expedition or Urgent, but not Advance

also one thing that I think is worth mentioning is the soundtrack, it's sooo good


Back to Assassin's Creed, after first three assassination missions, the game doesn't change anything. Assassinating again, in same towns, just in a different part of it. Same repeatable quests, saving citizens, climbing towers. So I actually saw everything that this game has to offer after 1st assassination quest.

I don't think I'm going to finish this, not worth my time. Just gonna check wiki/yt for things and move on to something else. This game is almost tragic.
