So I've been playing this recently...

Back to Assassin's Creed, after first three assassination missions, the game doesn't change anything. Assassinating again, in same towns, just in a different part of it. Same repeatable quests, saving citizens, climbing towers. So I actually saw everything that this game has to offer after 1st assassination quest.

The boss assassinations are (almost) all pretty good, but yeah, the same build up to each one was a boring grind.

I don't think I'm going to finish this, not worth my time. Just gonna check wiki/yt for things and move on to something else. This game is almost tragic.

I still love it - it's the best AC from a historical perspective, and although the Ezio trilogy having so much better gameplay, there's always that part in me that keeps that special feeling for AC1. Not enough to go back to replay it again, though.
If you can find some good saves, you might want to just try the boss missions.

I don't think I'm going to finish this, not worth my time. Just gonna check wiki/yt for things and move on to something else. This game is almost tragic.

Eh, the core gameplay loop of do sidemissions -> unlock assassination -> do assassination -> back to fortress never really changes, but you gotta remember the whole open world parkour thing was basically pioneered by this game. AC2 perfected the formula (and all the ones after Redemption just added more bloat) but 1 is worth finishing just for gaming history reasons. Though I admit I don't know if Id go back and replay it now myself.

So, how does it compare to kamidori gameplay-wise? Took a peek at the heroines and they dont seem as hot as the big boobs and butt elf from kamidori.

Gameplay wise it’s got a good mix of difficulty and tactics. You can coast for a while on basic strategy game play tropes but if you want to take it to the next level you have start working the medal system. My last few maps have been a breeze after I rigged up one of my characters with the insanely expensive pierce perk and then loaded her up with strength boosts. She went from worthless to OHKilling the shield mobs which is awesome since they used to take two full rounds of my entire team whaling away.

there are other hints of a more in-depth combat system then it seemed like was there at first glance, so from a sheer gameplay perspective there is some good stuff. Unfortunately the story so far has been really generic and lacks a lot of that magic that made kamidori such a pleasure

Replaying Blasphemous because of the recent New Game+ DLC. I did not appreciate her before due to how late you get her prayer, but Tentudia really is best girl. Being able to just stand in a place smacking the boss without fear of damage is really OP.

Also being able to teleport between Prie Dieus (Prie Dieux?) instead of just the big hands is really convenient.

Maybe? It could also be someone you annoyed enough that they created it only to deny it to you. I'd say check the profile pic. If it's a loli you've found a comrade, if it's a MILF or Bara then someone's fucking with you. Which you'd probably take as a win anyways.

First time?

First time in a long time. Last time that something like this happened was when I was still on Gaia Online. Swordmaster Sephiroth. Going back to what I'm playing, Trials of Mana intro feels like it was pulled out of Dragon Quest XI. "Goddess fights evil. Goddess is weakened. Goddess turns into tree and sword." Surtr's (Venusblood Frontier) voice is in my head again, talking about burning recycled scripts. Also, in terms of Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate, I finished most of it, but I'm not going to do the challenge tower just to get Hades's final boss outfit. That being said, as I mentioned before, Kyubi is beginning to understand that it's not wealth or power that leads to glory, but fluff:

Ultimate has "bonus voice-overs" which the characters apparently speak to the player, rather than other characters. The second voice-over is essentially max bond dialogue, and for Kyubi, it's her giving you permission to pet her tails. In other words, Warriors Orochi Kyubi (AKA Tamamo's true form) is slowly becoming Fate Tamamo. For some reason, this makes me happy.

For some time I'm playing FarCry 3 and while it's repetitive, it's more interesting since I can shoot things and try to be sneaky about it or go full rambo.

And today I started Shenmue and it didn't age well but despite that I kinda like it, it has it's charm.

Picked up Hades now that it's actually a complete game. It's super addictive. Like small little bits of Transistor, that you don't have to worry too much about at the since you're more focused on gaining persistent currency to level up the character and unlock new weapons. The toughest part at the beginning is trying to decipher which door emblem means what, and trying to remember if it's useful. Goddamn Centaur Hearts.

BTW, anyone here play Teppen? I heard they're adding Amaterasu soon and I love me some Okami, so is it easy to get into?
