Do you guys have tax on your digital sales? Because the Canadian government brought that shit in last year, and it really pisses me off that the listed price isn't the price any more.

So I just finished Metroid Dread. Outstanding game. This is one of the rare times where I noticed how good a game is to control. EMMIs were a great and unique addition, with their confrontations being as awesome as they were nerve wracking. Really liked all the new weapons you get and the boss fights made me feel like I was playing a character action game.
I do kinda get the criticisms it got in terms of how they designed the backtracking. It just felt like a little bit too annoying to get to certain places without going around the entire map first.
Overall though, I really enjoyed it. If Mercury Steam get another shot and listen to feedback, I'm sure they're gonna make some good shit in the future.
Also,
Spoiler:
Switch games used to be more expensive, and that's when our national currency was still stronger
Like, I got tony hawk for 280 reais, which was a good price like 5 years ago, and the real was less than 4 reais to a dollar, now it's over 5 reais to a dollar
Doesn't mean they're cheap, obviously, but it used to be worse
Call me 想φαγω.
Spoiler:
I just realised I forgot to buy Digimon Survive early so I probably screwed myself out of Guilmon... I mean, I can live with that but I didn't actually have to if I wasn't dumb.

The gap between how much I like Splatoon and how good I am at it is astounding.
You despise it but you're a squidgun god?

In a good way or a bad way?
I'm assuming you're worse at because why else would you buy the game, but I don't really like CoD but I'm pretty good at it apparently.

It is my solemn duty to inform you that Stage 2 is followed by Stage 1 (Hard) which is far worse.

My Mac-ness has saved me from falling into that particular hole, thankfully.

Ok much suffering later, Kiara has reigned supreme over Stage 2. Thank you KFP!! Also, it turns out the collabs are really really strong, who'da thunkit.
Stage 1 (Hard) obliterated me in 2 minutes.

I remember when in early battles in Medieval 2 where I lacked cavalry I would often charge my general's bodyguard in the back of militia blobs to rout them. Won a ton of pitched battles that way.
Nowadays I just win entire battles with point and click Skarbrand and it's absolutely beautiful.
maybe I should revive the Total War/strategy game thread

After putting down like 90~ hours in Elden Ring and starting a second character (so I can do late game multi & early-mid game multi, both), I've decided to take a break from the Lands Between. In between my typical ArcSys fighterz, I'm going to try to play PATHOLOGIC 2, although the game makes me super stressed out, since it's spooky-month. Wish me luck ~
(if the game proves too imposing on me I'll maybe try to finish Biohazard remake/Resident Evil 2002 on hard)
