feels a little bit easier than Metro 2033 but that's fine, it still has the good things the previous game had

Rance Quest: suddenly wholesome dad simulator.
It's incredible. There are some minor problems, most of them just stuff that could've been better now that it's not on a portable anymore, but overall the experience has been just as great as the first one.
My only actual complaint is that the main characters aren't nearly as likeable, but the story has been better so far, so it balances out.
After getting it for free off Epic Game store I finally beat a campaign in Total War: Troy as Penthesilea. Both Troy and Fate have her as a muscular warrior-queen with white hair and seriously suicidal anger issues. But then I'm not up to date on Grand Order lore nor care, so maybe that changed?
This is my second time ever finishing a campaign despite having played Total War since 2004 (Rome). The first time was, I think, Spain or Portugal in Medieval II.
The new writer for Rance is great, every scene in Rance Quest is really funny. I also like his version of the titular character better than both TADA and Tori's versions.

Rance series has gone through 3 writer eras.
TADA era: 1, 2, 3, 4
Tori era: Kichikuou, 5D, 6 and Sengoku
Yoidore Dragon & Dice Korogashi era: 01 (dice), 02 Kai (yoidore), Quest (yoidore), 9 (yoidore), 03 (both) and 10 (both).
Of course TADA is the creator and still wrote the story outline for the whole series, Tori and Yoidore&Dice just put his vision into text with their own flavor.

Just finished the 3rd dungeon in P5S and during the interlude I got to thinking, the Phantom Thieves only have 3 parents among the 7 of them. Yusuke only had his mom, and she's dead. Same with Futaba. Makoto and Haru only had a father who died. Ryuji has a living mother, and Ann has a case of anime parents. I guess MC has parents, but they shipped him off to a stranger when he saved a woman from being raped so I don't know if they count.
Compared to p4 where half the cast has a full set, and the other all have one other family member.

Is Futaba actually fully playable in Persona 5 Strikers? I have a personal oath not to play a musou game that has less than 10 characters playable. With Futaba, there is exactly 10, but otherwise, there is 9. On the other hand, Zelda: Age of Calamity appears to have a lot more than 10. Please confirm both assumptions, so I can choose which one to get.

I'll tell you what I'm not playing. Super Metroid. The SNES emulator that I have been using since high school doesn't work with current Windows versions.
Started a quick playthrough of M&B: Bannerlord (because why not). Game's fun and the combat much improved from Warband, but man, am I glad I elected not to pay full price for "early access". Yeah, this game is unfinished as all heck, and while I do believe the devs earnestly intend to finish it eventually, it does NOT in any way shape or form deserve 60$ as it is right now. At least fix the memory leaks all over the place, gaddang.
