I don't use that move cause I'm garbage with Kouma, but it's totally useful and stuff.
What does it do that's so useful? The slight clones while would be good are completely rendered null considering you can't move immidiately after using it. Oh wait, one of Kouma's Moon iirc let him use that in midair, now that's useful. But I can't really remember if that was so or not.
And how can you suck with Kouma? It's literally 236C until you finally grapple them. And when they're getting up 214B then 236C during the grapple (when you have 100% guage).

Pretty sure V. Sion does not have a custom win quote against Archetype. That quote of her was already present in React. And I mean, in that win quote she is saying the character she won against has distasteful blood and that he/she is a cheap thing; which really makes no sense (if it were referring to AE).

I really love Melty Blood, but my friend I play it with has been looking for some more info on Ryougi Shiki. Specifically, how good is she, and any tips? I'm an Arcueid player myself, which has been rather easy-to-play, and I generally try new characters, but he's pretty set on Ryougi, so I figured I'd give him some help.
All I know is that I think opinion of her borders on overpowered. Something about stupid fast wake up times and crazy combo and damage potential. You would probably have better luck asking around Melty Bread since that site is Melty Blood only.

Continuing from my rant of nuking the manga with words. And since this was the perfect place to discuss it. Let's begin.
Part 2: Story
I could be wrong. I have not played the game. I only skimmed the images of the MB manga. But I think it's a little inconsistent. I know the Sacchin fans would burn me and Sacchin deserves some screentime but the manga kinda played it wrong. Techncially Sion and Shiki was suppose to fight Nero. But I guess they add Sacchin for sadness/Tear Jerker factor.
Where is Sacchin in the original Melty Blood game anyway?
Did Akiha and Sion met in the original MB?
And where was Sion during the Giant Akiha Arc anyway? Why did she return to Atlas in the Manga? I thought she was hunted due to being a "TATARI" (Hell. My MB knowledge is hella weak and is only expanded thanks to this forum, Melty Bread and a friend who is a Sion Fanatic.) *Well She returned to Atlas in MBAC but well. The Manga and MBAC are not canon in some parts anyway.* I know Arc X Shiki would have been the better choice for Kohaku Troll Arc but they could have added Sion in there too. I mean. Sion is the MAIN HEROINE in MB. Can't we have Sion, Arc and Shiki at once? It went from Silly/Serious to Silly (Well the original MB was silly and serious anyway) and then it went BAD (Will Discuss why MB X Sucked later) It went to an overkill Genre Shift.
The Author went hella OOC in the manga. It's his manga. I cannot do anything or do not have a say in it. This might as well be my weakest argument. More weak than part 1 of the Rant but Part 3 will get better.
BTW, the Melty Blood Manga is like Deen's F/SN Anime adaptation as in they merged the routes or some shit like that. The only thing I liked about DEEN's Adapatation was the anime art and the story wasn't bad. It was mostly Fate-based and almost everything went OOC but it wasn't bad. (watched every single episode of Deen F/SN, just that it has been a while since I saw it)
