Being accepted by the Makiri is what Shinji wants, and it probably isn't wise to deny Zouken's gift. Also, I'm curious about the effects of this wand as well as what chaperone Zouken comes up with. It may well be one of Zouken's old associates.

Shinji would not go against his grandfather, not when he's finally being acknowledged by him.
Given the AU, this takes place several years after the Fourth War (when Shinji was studying abroad). I have taken the liberty of shifting the HP verse around a bit so that the characters we know and love end up at about 11.
But isn't Kayneth just grownup Draco Malfoy? Or are the Malfoy and Archibald families related somehow?
