You can switch the site layout to English. I think product descriptions remain in Japanese, but checkout and stuff should be in English.

Ah, right, I forgot about that. Still, when I search for "type moon ace 10" on the site, I'm not entirely sure about the results: http://www.amazon.co.jp/s/ref=nb_sb_...pe+moon+ace+10
Is this it?: http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/switch-la...language=en_JP

'kay, cool. Guess I'll grab it then. I collect the magazines, and have all the other 9, so even if the content in this one turns out to be boring, I still need to get it.
Edit: I tried ordering, but my usual account password that I use for Amazon.com and Amazon.uk isn't working. Do I need a separate account for jp? I tried registering a new account as well, but it's asking for the furigana for the pronunciation of my name...How am I supposed to know that? >_<

I'll buy from amazon when I'm feeling like it, don't really trust AmiAmi yet personally.
Though that's mostly because they outright refuse to tell me how much the shipping fee will be until I finish checking out

Well, that's a lot of Japanese stores that ship overseas. It's because EMS and the like are priced by weight so the entire package has to be weighed first before you can get a concrete number, or something like that. Some stores work different and have fixed prices depending on the category of the item, but usually that ends up being more expensive in my own experience. Amiami is actually a good site though.

I just prefer amazon because the fixed price is really cheap and the shipping is faster than EMS.
Amazonjp is really good for books and magazines. The shipping is extremely fast and quite cheap as well. I had Tsuki no Sango delivered to my doorstep in Finland in mere 3 (!) days from ordering. As fast as local post.

Thanks, I managed to create an account now (didn't know I could just write my name a second time). But now when I try to check out and fill in my shipping and billing address and my credit card info, it demands that I select a valid prefecture before I can go to the next step (leaving the field blank doesn't work. I tried), and the only ones that are available to choose from are Japanese ones. I don't see any option for international customers like me who don't live in Japan.

Sure, if you can read Japanese. There will probably be some funny comics. You should order it so you can scan it for us.
