Rofl, not what the news cycle will focus on here. Trump essentially admitted to violating campaign finance laws and trying to get a foreign government to help him win the next election, even asking the president of Ukraine to work with our d department of justice in order to do so. This is big politically, especially since the DoJ won't charge him for the felonies. As it is, Trump is all but guaranteed to be impeached, but whether or not he's removed from office and we have president Pence until 2020 is entirely up to whether or not the Senate Republicans side with the Constitution and the law, or with the prez.

With how extremism is on the rise and Trump seems popular with the people, I think it is possible for him to win even if the senates decide not to side with him. The impeachment process is hard to go through.
There's some truth in that, but tbh, I don't think the Republicans will turn on him. Besides, it's early in the reporting, so I could be misinformed.

Most of his term is done anyways, so at this point impeachment would boil down to posturing... not to mention he's still done less damage than Dubya... unless you mean PR, in which case he's a PR catastrophe, but the sooner America realizes PR doesn't really do much, the better they can fix their shit.
Like, if you want to scrap the Electoral College, now you have an actual reason to instead of distracting by saying "Oil!" and marching towards the nearest Middle Eastern well.
USA has marched to Saudi Arabia in the name of oil already not? Even in the unlikely case that Trump doesn't win the election, the policy will not just go away in the short while. Not sure how the economy is really doing thanks to this trade war, but isn't USA spreading too wide again?

Let's see... Trump White House? Brexit? Russia/Ukraine conflict? Catastrophic drought in South Africa? Japan's declining population? Melting polar ice caps? U.S/China trade war and HK unrest? The rise of Far-Right extremism globally. Skyrocketing tensions between Iran and Saudi Arabia? Israel being unable to have a functioning government despite two elections? Mass migrations out of Africa, South America, and the Middle East in search of safety and stability in the face of crime, climate change, extremism, oppression, and grinding poverty? Horrifying natural disasters across the globe? The fracturing of global trade networks?
Australia may well be the only continent I haven't heard something horrible about lately.
