Fuck this shit. The Fed is going to start buying corporate debt in order to keep the economy going. You know, instead of Congress maybe handing more sustained funds to the average citizens. We aren't going to see a drop of that. It's going to start looking like the damn housing crisis bailouts all over again.

Is police corruption a problem? Yes. Is it stupid to call the entire force a "gang"? Yes. Remind me again. In the George Floyd case, were criminal charges filed? If the police were as ruthless as you claim them to be, do you honestly think that the "self-autonomous" zone would still be intact? This is what we used to do with rebels:
Again, nothing against peaceful protesters, but violent rioters are nothing more than rebel scum.
No, you're just ignoring how the police is a violent gang.
I could post dozens of videos of police brutality, but I'm pretty sure you would dismiss them all as looters getting what they deserve, so how about I remind you of how they pushed down an old man and left him to bleed out.
After first claiming that the man tripped and fell, they did suspend the two officers, and that resulted in 57 members of police, the entire team, resigning in protest. Of course, after the backlash, they denied that their resignment was in support of those officers.
This and all the other accusations of police brutality didn't stop the NY police from demanding respect. Here's a nice video for you, I think it portrays a pretty nice contrast, maybe you'll believe in the violence this time around.
So yes, the police are a ruthless, violent gang that would rather protect their position than do their job. The information is out there, go to your news source of choice and find it. Stop trying to justify your political views with video game cutscenes and look at the real world.

So you would prefer complete anarchy instead?
That's not entirely correct. They resigned from their role as first responders, they're still employed as police officers. After first claiming that the man tripped and fell, they did suspend the two officers, and that resulted in 57 members of police, the entire team, resigning in protest.
Are you so ensnared by the current status quo that you can't think of any alternative between the current state of the police force and absolute anarchy?
That's true, I was just trying to keep things concise or it was going to quickly devolve into a wall of text.

It's not the same in any way, actually.
If your argument is that there can never be a perfect system, then I don't understand why you're assuming I'm naïve enough to believe there can. The unattainability of a perfect something is not a valid argument against the need for a better something.
If your argument is that the systems we deem good or bad will ultimately be corrupted, or alternatively, be deemed obsolete by future generations, then it still isn't an argument against change. In fact, it's an argument in favor of change.
If you're arguing that we should follow this guy's ideas of how to change things, go research arguments for disbanding the police. You'll find that they don't ignore the changes that would need to happen to systems other than law enforcement. The demands to defund the police are often followed by cries to funnel that money into education, mental health care, etc.

But that's just it. Let's say you hypothetically replace the police. What would you call this new law enforcement agency? Police 2.0? Apparently, people have even told that Darth Maul's voice actor to tell his friend to quit the police force. Should that person apply to this new force? Secondly, the whole reason that I'm even on this thread was not even to complain about the movement. My initial post was mainly about a fan artist getting flack for calling out the violent aspects of the movement, whilst even voicing support for the movement, as a whole because it apparently breaks the illusion of the infallibility of the underdog. People apparently dealing in absolutes harder than Darth Vader have also complained when she mentioned that she will no longer talk about politics on an art account.
I couldn't care less about the twitter post. I was just answering to your downplaying of the amount and severity of police brutality that the protesters are opposing.
