Those that have rioted in Hong Kong should be punished and not let off easy, but people who support them and say they should be spared are also demanding that the BLM rioters should be.

Besides what county and province in a country is an exception from national security laws anyway?

The only fault I can see is that the West managed to get away with all their shit because nobody can call them out on it back then, and even now still since you see some strongly defending slavery and whatever not.

So far, the bottom line is still do not call for HK independence. It was crossing this line which led to the tightening of the rope. Then of course is the actual damage done by rioting. Other than that, things are pretty cool.

See. Difference is that the US is a democracy that allows its citizens to have guns. China is a dictatorship that does not allow its citizens to have guns. This contributes to cops in the US being more on edge and feeling that they need guns, which then thins the line between cop and soldier. FYI, cops in China don't have guns. They have restraining poles. Soldiers have guns... Guess what was used during the Tiananmen Square massacre? Similarly, I don't recall Hong Kong protesters asking for help from the communist police:

1. Again, I'm not really feeling the effects of Russian censorship internationally. I am feeling the effects of Chinese censorship internationally, and that's the main problem.
2. Well, that's one way to interpret my words. Another is to reduce guns in the US. Answer is actually neither. One cannot compare law enforcement in the US vs. law enforcement in China because of different civilian gun laws, which bleed into police weapon guidelines, which affect what counts as cop vs. what counts as soldier.
