You know about the Indian who had to pretend to be black to get into medical school because that college had lower passing scores for blacks and Hispanics. If you approach a discussion from the perspective of "everyone is a bootlicker, but you are a bootlicker to someone who never can do anything but wrong", then... discussion is pointless anyway? No common ground or agreement will ever be reached from either part, so in the end it will come down to an exchange of insults every time.

Two extreme opposite positions where neither side is willing to pull back at anything ever or consider the other's viewpoint is an useless discussion and a waste of both parts' time and effort. Neither will change the other's mind in the slightest because they're both fanatics and everyone in the middle will just get fed up of dealing with the same crap exchanges every time.

I'm not sure the thread is even about News anymore, more often than not most of the posts seem to involve a video or a meme or a caricature or a twitter message trying to invoke a political stance, rather than actually addressing a thing that just happened like, I don't know, a train blowing up or someone's brains being shot or even a Kardashian having an abortion, which, God help me, by now it would feel like a welcome breath from the political wang measuring by this point.

How about those Trump tax returns? $750 for two years and nothing for almost a decade before that? And he possibly owes the IRS $73 million in backtaxes for those years. It won't do anything to change the populaces opinions of him, since everyone who could be swayed by this was probably smart enough to realize that the guy who owned three failed casino's isn't a good businessman. Still funny to see the actual numbers. I want to see how he'll try to spin this in his favour tomorrow, and also suddenly introduce legislation to neuter the IRS.

I don't think you need to concede to officially lose, it's just the good sportsman thing to do when you know there's no chance of actually winning. Looking gracious in defeat and all that. Trump doesn't do that, so he'll probably bitch and whine and try and get the Supreme Court to overturn the results. Basically a repeat of Bush/Gore from 2000, only with more narcissism and less civility.

Seeing how Trump has acted, I think he will be that sore-loser and do everything he can to stay in power. Thing is, will his allies, or what you can call them play the game with him?
