Aside from that, what causes me actual anger is knowing how much calculation and callousness are driving Trump's campaign, behind the buffoonery and the intolerable memes.
Nobody's expecting you to like anyone, but I'm curious why it's singularly Trump that stands out to you; it's not like Hillary or anyone else is any different. They're just bad at it.

Also I wouldn't characterize it as just anger, as in anger for anger's sake.

i like to see it more like this

a revolution cannot create results immediately

but it lays the foundations for which incremental progress can then be made

I meant the calculation. Don't think Hillary or Ted Cruz or Rubio or anyone else is just traipsing around like an innocent lamb (well okay, Ben Carson probably is). Trump's just outmaneuvering them. So I have to ask what you meant about that and his positions, or just what gets your ire up here in comparison, since it was probably a bit more specific than that.

I can accept your distinction, but I won't universalize it just so you can prove your point. "American Revolution" is quite widely used concept. So is the use of that word for our own independence movements at the end of 80s, although "revival" is more popular.

which is why allow myself some attitude
We can probably agree that revolutions are sometimes necessary to allow the fostering of democracies though, whether a counterrevolution follows or not. Aka what petri said.

Yeah, this is perhaps an unusual place for a first post. I've lurked for a while, and I actually didn't realize that this was my first post. I had thought that I had posted in one of the other threads, but I guess not.
