It doesn't matter if the votes are real or not. Trump can cause enough damage since he can convince half of the country that he was screwed, or leave a mark of suspicion. If not handled properly, this will be a problem that will turn ugly fast.

Oh, and another example of an "extreme circumstance" is if you follow your boss's orders to the letter but still get blamed when shit hits the fan. Nor should you be given mutually exclusive tasks and told to get do them both at the same time, only to face punishment for being unable to. But hey, I've been fired that way before. Likewise, you shouldn't be penalized because of a dispute between people you don't know and have never met, but I've been fired that way too. Ngl, that kind of "take a bullet" scenario is actually really common here. Right to Work laws make it easy to scapegoat lower-ranking employees for the sake of their "superiors" and can make it hard to prove discrimination. Not to mention things like non-disclosure agreements, non-competition clauses, and severance packages contingent on legally-binding agreements not to sue that essentially ransom your livelihood as a means of escaping retribution for unfair practices. Using an employment metaphor for that one isn't the best choice XD

If a former boss tries to prevent you from getting layoff benefits because they claimed that you were fired for breaking so-and-so policy, the burden of proof is on them. My line of work has me go through quite a few unemployment cases. Among them, there are several cases that essentially state that the former employee will get those benefits, despite their former boss filing a counterclaim, due to the former boss not providing proof, not showing up to court, etc.

Yes, but the problem with that is that the company itself is often the only source of information on the topic people will get. In part this is their own fault, but not in cases where there's no free legal consultation available or ready access to the internet. This makes it much easier to do to poor workers than middle class ones.

Not everyone knows who to call or see in these situations.

El Presidente has a couple cards he hasn't used yet, I presume, because he's too dumb to even notice he has them or how to play them skillfully enough to get what he wants.

One of those will also inevitably gut the Republican Party, so I don't think that's a viable option unless he wants to spite the other side or the GOP decides they've had a good run as it is.

Well, even if he foregoes the "suicide option" and "Watergate Pro" options, he could still use a series of cards that would leave Biden an ungovernable mess that he would only be able to get out of by committing electoral suicide (and dragging the Democratic Party with it). The thing is... I'm convinced he's dumb enough to not notice them because they require shrewdness and a cold hearted disposition to give your party the middle finger (they would also have no way to govern without self-crucifixion).

Every person with one iota of working neurons should do this. Blind loyalty to a group of dead people and a bunch of paraphernalia they made to stroke their own egos should never take precedence over good governance.

However, this is not confined just to countries, but people, too. I have no issue with transgender people in and of themselves, but if you check out the Dororo wiki with all those trans people insisting that Dororo is a boy, it gets grating after a while. Of course, I promise that those people will be coming for Mordred sooner or later. I prefer to nip budding problems before they reach full bloom.
