I acknowledged a mistake I made in a previous post based on previous replies, included evidence regarding the lack of validity of the original post, and gave reasons why that, even if original post was bullshit, it's something I'm still concerned about given the long record Biden has on a topic like that. The only things I've found using wording of that tweet from yesterday are the tweet itself and a reddit thread about said tweet, which is where I found the followup tweet about the alleged CNN bit.

I'm sorry for the unnecessary sniping, since it really wasn't needed.
My problem with this type of news and posts has been that most of the time the people posting don't really check where it comes from and see if it's something to notice or not. I'd have much preferred a better collection of what problems Biden/Harris have and how the US needs to watch out for them if they want to have actual progress.

If you've been following this thread at all for the last year you'd already have a good understanding of why Biden/Harris is troubling.
Biden: 94 Crime Bill, repeated calls to cut Social Security, Medicare, and other social welfare programs, voting for Iraq War and other middle eastern conflicts without expressing any remorse, has no problems associating and being friendly with some of the most notorious racists and segregationists in modern history (this at least he has somewhat improved on), among other things you could find with a simple google search.
Harris: When the 08/09 housing and financial crises happened (aka The Great Recession) she failed to prosecute Steve Mnuchin and others like him who began foreclosing on homes in CA before federal orders allowed said foreclosures could begin, did nothing to curb Big Tech/Silicon Valley's ability to strong arm anti-worker legislative pushes, such as Amazon's whole union-busting stuff, laughed on camera on how she threw the book at thousands of poor, generally black and brown, people for petty marijuana possession, has admitted on camera that she treats debates as games and will say whatever she thinks will let her win, used her relationship with former San Francisco mayor Willie Brown to catapult her career path, etc etc.
David Sorota from Jacobin plus Ryan Grim and Glenn Greenwald from the Intercept (Glenn recently left the Intercept, but they should still have his articles posted) have done a number of articles going over the pros and cons that these candidates offer. Biden and Harris are just more same old same old neoliberal swamp creatures that are slightly better on social issues than neocons.

Biden/Harris is just going to be 2 years of gridlock (I expect the GOP to prevail in both the Georgia Senate runoff elections but I do hope for Democratic victories but I'd call Warnock and Ossoff both underdogs in their respective races) with some austerity on the side, as that will be all that McConnell sanctions for passage. Other than that he'll do some Executive Orders - mostly re-reversals of Trump's reversals of Obama's orders.
That's about all you can expect for the first 2 years.

Americans made the choice. Sanders seems to have ideas in changing some of the flaws, but he is demonized for proposing some policies that have shades of socialism.
