Which one can argue lies at the heart of certain right-wing arguments against welfare and affirmative action. That doesn't seem to be unique to one end of the political horseshoe or the other.

I mean, you can see that sort of thing at work on both sides of the Tweet's story. Hence why I mentioned it. It's both sides framing their arguments from the perspective of race, with the Asian parent adding in the implication that blacks are dramatically inferior to other races through the comment about them never catching up even by lowering standards. That suggests that even with lower standards, blacks are so inferior they still wouldn't be equally represented.

No, the former is saying that the target is inferior, while the latter is calling out the target for essentially admitting that they are.

Well, to be fair, "extra ordinary" doesn't necessarily mean good. The same people who freak out over Trump (and Obama before him) putting people in cages also praise China for putting people in boxes and North Korea for straight up offing them.

In the meantime, you'll just have to get used to the idea of selective breeding, forced sterilization, and active extermination of undesirables associated with eugenics to be seen in the context of racism, both "scientific" and otherwise. You can thank the fact that the two have been intertwined historically for its continued association.
