I have had my palm firmly against my face for this whole post-election nonsense, but this is just a whole new level. This entire debacle would have been a deep stain on President Trump's legacy, the Republican party, and the United States, but this is the kind of thing that people will point to in a hundred years and that will define the era. This is the scene that will be the climax for eventual movies about the Trump administration. This is the moment where supporters of President Trump will have to draw a line; it is one thing to support President Trump's policies, or be grateful for his accomplishments, or believe the deck was stacked against him, or feel that the Biden administration will be ruinous for the country, but it is quite another to support this.
