Nothing? I mean, it's pretty clear they're not going to change, and the current administration gives fuck-all about reforms to law enforcement. This is anything but a local problem; it's systemic and baked into how policing is done here, of whom, by whom, for whom, and how the executive and judicial systems are designed to protect enforcers of the law even when they commit crimes.
It's not something that a few reviews, lightly-enforced changes, and some cameras can fix. Footage disappears, cameras can be cut off, and the Fraternal Order of Police protects its own. This, coming from someone who's worked directly with them as a licensed security officer.
In other news, Trump went ahead and did it. Declared open-season on the social media companies, that is.
