honestly i havent thought much of the issue ever since developing my current ideological framework.

in a way i say yes and i understand the value of it.

on the other hand, i think that being too dependent on your predecessors is a very bad thing, for various reasons.

(though, the state shouldnt have it, fuck the state and the whole bunch of do nothing pencil pushers that inhabit it)

i suppose that, for now, given that i havent really thought much about it until you asked me it would be "yes, but only if the individual in question put a lot of work into it and did a meaningful upgrade to the assets that he is inheriting and ideally the individual wasnt forced by their parents into working there but rather chose to work there and believes in the project that their predecessors built".

though, if you are talking about just straight numbers on a bank account, i would say no, just the physical assets. i mean, why do you think an increasing number of celebrities are refusing to give their children their wealth?

there is more to my ideology than just "radical individualism", obviously. i got a whole cultural and ideological framework behind it, as well as principles of self-reflection.

if they want to screw me over, then they are free to come and get me because in this scenario, i would have the total right to be armed and fight back and engage them as i deem necessary.

which is why most people dont do it. same principle as we dont shoot our nukes at each other at the slightest disagreement. same reason as the conservatives like to say "an armed society is a polite society" and why some of the most armed states with the most lax gun laws are the ones with the lowest criminality.

hell, even in situations where the state is a thing and you are somewhat disarmed, if the government says that theft or murder is instantly punisheable by a swift and non-glorified death, then people will go as far as to not even have locks on their doors. had a conversation the other day with my dad on such a situation that existed in a region of Africa that he is familiar with.
