Not exclusively, but it's there, and the current media being produced glorifies underaged-looking characters as sex symbols. I think you're a person who cannot reconcile with aspects of a culture he didn't spend his formative years in. When people come out for a long period of time, something is fundamentally wrong and they have enough of it. This is the same for everywhere. Don't try to argue against the fact that police brutality is happening everywhere. Seeding out and punishing those abusing power is necessary to keep them in line, but that is not happening and the seemingly built mentality of us (cops) vs them (anyone not cops) just mess things up further. Then the vicious cycle come, with some dudes adding in fuel to fan the flames, things continue on.

People says acab when they are arrested for rioting, but the same people will call the cops when they are being assaulted for rioting. Sure, we need to look at the core reasons which cause the rioting, but that doesn't change the fact that these people are disgusting.

Should probably avoid the terrorism one. As long as the protests turn into riots, the other side can claim the same thing, with the destruction of infrastructure and "fear for their life".

The murder one holds though, since one side is trying to stop deaths, while the other seems to want more and more.

Screw that "both sides" nonsense. The BLM protests are a direct reaction to use of excessive force by the police (including *during* said protests!), while the white supremacists are engaging in planned actions designed to shut down protests through violence and fear.

You're right. It's hard to see both sides, if you have a vested interest in one of them. That also makes it harder to predict the moves of the other side. Politics is a chess game. And I'll keep pulling up old historical references (mostly 3 Kingdoms) to get that point across. The Yellow Turban Rebellion was also a "direct reaction" of the Eunuchs' influence in the Han court, etc.

It's not a both sides thing. I'm just saying how others will react if you start throwing around things like terrorism, because from their PoV a mass of rioters burning down unrelated businesses seem a lot like terrorism. Especially with how paranoid the US has become about that kind of thing in the last few decades. And with Trump wanting to throw everyone who disagrees with him under the worst possible banner he can. I'm honestly surprised he hasn't already tried calling protesters terrorists, rather than all this weird "radical leftist militia" stuff they've been peddling.
