Looks pretty neat! Only got to play on my PC today so I haven't messed with paintjobs much at all, but I've got two AC designs I'm cooking + more pending (haven't decided to build a tetrapod or a tank yet).

Plasma missiles are seriously, seriously overpowered. People sleep on'em because they don't instantly delete shit in PvP but they have a shitton of ammo, do very good damage+impact per missile in a pretty big AoE, and thanks to said AoE explosions they're practically undodgeable to the AI. You could win the entire arena just spamming missiles and nothing else.

I beat pre-nerf Balteus a couple times. I also beat post-nerf Balteus another couple times (still no S rank though) and I can honestly say I didn't notice a difference.

Halfway through NG+ now and I'm still waiting for Rusty's fucking awesome spin sword of death. I mean, I'm still probably gonna stick to the laser lance for how crazy good it is at getting into people's faces, but I want to at least give it a shot.

Also, wound up going Liberator on my first run and doing all the additional RLF missions now is really going to make me feel like an asshole when I go for the Fires ending. Plus I'm gonna have to unplug Michigan and I feel even worse about that than I do about dueling my buddy to the death :/

Your experience may vary, but I found Rusty's melee to be very unreliable. I think I just haven't really figured out how to position with it properly, but it just stops hitting the target halfway through and they counterattack while you're spinning in front of them like an idiot. Again, I'm sure you can make it work, but this is just a heads up.

While having to kill Michigan is indeed a national tragedy, imo it's somewhat made up by the fact that it's one of the most exhilirating missions in the game. I won't spoil anything, but I'm sure you'll figure out why. It also has the funniest banter in the game.

Yeah, I never managed to get comfortable with the laser slicer either. I'm still missing the coral version of Moonlight but so far I think the best melee weapon in terms of damage and ease of use is by far the starting pulse blade, with the laser lance being also great but more used as a setup to combo something heavy in the enemy's face than as a weapon in its own right.

I knew doing the "evil" NG2 ending would make me feel like an ass but I was actually surprised at quite how much of an asshole it makes you out to be.

from you. Ayre's absence is notable in that whole mission, and then when you fight her as a last boss she acts like a jilted girlfriend. Meanwhile Chatty straight up dies in front of you and Carla ends up putting a brave front even as she has to suicide along with the Xylem into the Vascular Plant. And then the ending narration straight up calls you a monster, lol.

That being done, I'm slowly clearing my way through the last NG with Kate. Kind of sad though since I've finally bought out the shop so until I get the Coral stuff near the end there's nothing new to look forward to. I should probably have taken a break between NG's to keep things interesting, because I'm feeling a lot like burnout and I'm only in chapter 1.

Patch 1.05 with another balance pass and some actual new AC parts (one whole Core and a handful of weapons) has been leaked, apparently. No official acknowledgement or ETA on Fromsoft's part, however. After all these adjustments I just know I'm going to go back and find all my old builds unplayable at some point. Good thing I don't do PvP.

Update 1.05 is finally with us, bringing everything that had been promised, as well as one of the primordial evils of the world... ranked PvP.

Still doesn't affect me directly, but watching the community's reaction has been amusing.
