They must have threatened Urobuchi's puppets to get him back to it.

Can't say I enjoyed "Rebellion" so I'm very lukewarm on the idea of a sequel.

Yeah. Found out about that. This gives me Kizu flashbacks and how that adaptation was delayed for years when the plan was to follow novel order and release it after Bake. Yet, anime Kizu ended up coming so much later

Hopefully this is the last time they touch the main series.
Anime then VS Anime now
what happened
Literally Tsukihime remake all over again. Changes in designs to a more current aesthetic making them lose parts of their design considered iconic? Check. Recasting seiyuus for all characters? check. I just find it funny that both Nasu and the MLA staff had the same idea in regards to bringing their old stories to 2021

Well, the recasting of VAs makes some sense cause Muvluv came out originally in 2003, a lot of the VAs are no longer active. Hell, Meiyas VA never had much of a career outside of voicing Meiya in various muvluv content throughout the 00s. It does hurt a lot that Taguchi doesnt get to do Sumika in the anime: she's still active in voice acting, and she really loves her role as Sumika. She still has the same damn Sumika profile pic on twitter shes had forever. Also F to Hitomi who had a role in both Tsukihime (Akiha) and Muvluv (Tama).
However, the nerfing of Sumikas ahoge is a crime. How dare they.
More Overlord just when I wanted it. You know, after watching Overlord and appreciating its female characters, all other monster girl simping just seems so... naïve. Like the Dimitrescu daughters in Resident Evil 8. They're insect-type, but then Entoma is clearly the better bug.
Looks interesting...

Oh, it's that manga everyone wants to get an anime adaptation.
Good for them, I guess.
I'm still waiting on 'Smile! Sotomura-san' though.
Binged All Of Gundam In 4 Years, 1 Week and All I Got Was This Stupid Mask
FF XIV: Walked to the End
Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
Komi-san started out alright (reminded me a lot of the comedy aspects of Medaka Box) but it got bogged down in romcom clichedness somewhere in the middle. Haven't read the past ~100 chapters or so, might make an effort to catch up I guess.

My Hero Academia The Movie: World Heroes' Mission Anime Casts Ryō Yoshizawa as Original Character. They criticized MAPPA's decision to work on four shows at the same time instead of properly training its team so that such corrections wouldn't be necessary.
