I don't understand why they're stretching the Infinity Train arc into an entire movie. The thing was barely 5 chapters.

Oh, I definitely underestimated its length, probably because I binged the entire manga during Labor Day weekend. Hope there's more Rengoku & kids interactions though.

I'll be honest. As flawed as it is. I like it. And I know there's some others. But indeed the reception's been very negative in general, at least in the west from what I can see. But for some reason or another, it has an S2. Either reception's different on China and Japan (which matter more than the west), or I dunno. It honestly surprises me, given the reception. But it's happening regardless.

It had high viewership but also highly ridiculed. But ridicule doesnt subtract from success, shitting on it doesnt cancel the views you gave it.
So, the BayFormers effect: People go to the cinema and paid tickets to watch them, and complain. But they still gave their money. And money speaks louder than words, thus the sequels that kept being made

On the other hand this is a second season that can't come fast enough.
So shield hero is already confirmed as an addition, so wonder what else are they gonna cram in. Tho to be honest i'm not particularly fond of adding more and more, since it took a while for the characters of the original 4 to gel together nicely and adding more is pointless if no chemistry is made.

IF ANN's translatation is to be believed, Shield Hero (and any others that might show up) are "guest stars".. Which probably means they'll be there just for a few minutes, but the focus will remain on the Quartet (Konosuba, Overlord, Re:Zero and Youjo Senki)
