The only way it could work is if they went the heavily CGI route like Tim Burton's Alice to recreate the zany adventure vibe, but then why bother doing a live-action version at all (also, high risk of running into the uncanny valley)?
This just seems like a blatant attempt to cash in on a popular series without thinking of how it'd work.

Checking out the link, apparently Oda himself actually announced the project and is heavily involved in production? I'm still very skeptical of how they could pull it off, but if the original author has something he wants to say through this project then maybe he will be able to make it work. Hopefully it won't fall into the pit of trying to recreate exactly what made One Piece good on the page, which definitely wouldn't translate well in a live-action series.

Anyways, very hyped for "The God of High School" and the "Tower of God" adaptations. You could probably guess from my avatar, but I'm a big fan of Korean webcomics.
Eh, RWBY's been there for years, it's a little late for for the "muh Animu" crowd to complain.
I can't wait for the Korean shows, since Webtoon format bugs me enough that I never tried after the first. Or maybe Girls of the Wilds just ruined it for me. Either way an anime is a nice alternative to superlong pages with huge empty space on them.

Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
Tower of God looks pretty so I might watch season one, but all my interest in that series died in that damn train.
April 5th is when the new Digimon anime debuts.
I'm very excited after seeing that trailer.
Not sure if other things happened too, but the VA for Ange retired for starters.
