The wiki says that Tamamo was born in Japan as a girl who was named Mizukume. Did she have a history before that? Or was Amaterasu watching people before but not interfering?
Amaterasu had other bunreis before that, but Tamamo herself started with Mizukume, yeah.
And where can I read about other incarnations? There is no such thing on Wikipedia. And it's strange that Tamamo is considered a harlot who destroyed states, but at the same time the official ent says that she just wanted to find a person she could serve. Does she remember her previous incarnations?
She doesn’t have other incarnations. Amaterasu threw a piece of her Divine Soul on Earth to incarnate as Daji, then another to incarnate as Mao Si, then another to incarnate as the Devala goddess, another to incarnate as Fujiwara no Takako, and another to incarnate as Tamamo no Mae. They’re all Amaterasu but once they leave the greater source, they sorta have nothing to do with each other.
Where can I read all about it? It is also very interesting to read about what Tamamo was doing when she found herself at the imperial court. It's just that earlier on the forums I heard about Tamamo and she was described as a monster, a courtesan who seduced men, arranged orgies and was generally evil. And now I played fuet extra and instead of a monster I saw a little fox who wanted to find someone to serve. She doesn't look like an evil schemer.

Foxtail just did a chapter exploring her past but you won't see any new info if you've played Extra. CCC is the sequel to Extra and even has a scene with Amaterasu herself.
It's mostly stuff that's been inferred throughout her appearances and other character's reactions to her. The recent Tunguska event in FGO has a bunch of info on Daji, but doesn't involve Tamamo.
So the incarnation of Tamamo was not a harlot? If so, why does she say in Extella that she is in harlot mode if she is not engaged in fornication? Or is it not in the literal sense?
