In TM when they talk about domain of "god" almost always it means The Root, on the contrary when talk about "gods" is the specific domain in some culture like the Olympus or the Underworld, I think.

I really don't understand why people attempt to publicly translate things when they're clearly severely lacking in at least one language.
I don't think the translator is severely lacking in Japanese but if the person or anyone was, it's probably for feedback or practice. Not everyone is absolutely perfect at the language. Moreover, I don't see any evidence that the translator is "severely lacking" in his translation as he's been getting better with feedback time and time again.
