nah I enjoy most tales
Zestiria was bad tho
I wouldn't say Zestiria was bad, it just didn't live up to the previous games i either story nor gameplay.
Alisha Diphda was best waifu from Zestiria though.

My only major thing that I care about is that Abyss should never be called the best anything within the series.
Other than that think what you want.
Oh, and tempest was terrible.

Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
Speaking as someone who's only played Zestiria, it was IMO quite a poor game. Sure, production values were pretty good for a game with that much content, but combat feels clunky, even with all the battle actions (to begin with, why the hell do I need to unlock free movement in combat?).
To add to that, story is rather awful, the party seems to have the collective intelligence of a potato, and the equipment system is confusing at first and stupidly grindy once you figure out how it works.
You started at the series' lowest point. Story and gameplay weee at their all time low, such that the rather average anime is significantly better.
Play Tales of Symphonia. Best of them all.

And on the other hand, this small fact genuinely makes up for more than half the bullshit. And Edna helps too, I guess.
…Meebo.

Lloyd and Colette in Tales of Symphonia. That was pure feels from start to finish.
And Genis' relationship with Preseason is cute too. And yes, I also ship Sheelos.
I kind of like how despite being one of the worst Tales of game, Zestiria's OST may be the best since Vesperia. Though I haven't played Hearts or Tempest.
I seriously will fight you. To say that Xillia 1 or 2's can top Abyss, Vesperia, or especially Symphonia, displays either a general lack of knowledge or incredibly poor taste.
Likes attention, shiny objects, and... a ball of yarn?

No point shipping Zelos with anyone since he doesn't deserve happiness and he's just going to die when I pick the Kratos route anyway.
why would you pick the worst route
To kill Zelos.

Keep in mind this is all motivated by a twisted obsession with Sheena. The flirting cannot be forgiven.
The only song I can really remember from Hearts is Incarose's battle theme. It's pretty cool.

Xillia 2's story is really good, yeah. Xillia 1 is actually okay, too, just that I don't really like some of its characters.
Something
Funnily enough the fact that you can say Vesperia is good with a straight face explains everything
Xillia 1's story is interesting, but is blatantly cut short and it's cast kinda doesn't live up to it.
Xillia 2's storyline is 70% "Lets explore all the missed potential in Xillia 1" and 30% time travel stuff which sine waves in quality depending on how much of it rests on the shoulders of the MC. Ludger could've been a great character if they had just picked a direction with him and didn't pawn it off on that stupid dual dialogue system. Also I will forever be pissed off that I actually got a sympathetic and engaging version of Milla only for her to get shafted to bring back the bland one.
Even trying to fuse the two into a unit and judge them that way still comes off as wanting. Both stories feel like the kitchen sink approach ran away with them in different ways.
It had a good cast. The story was ... eh? Combat was functional and I don't have any memory of strong opinions over it.
