As announced at this evening's E3 PlayStation event, a Kickstarter for Shenmue 3 has just gone live... and is racking up quite an impressive total already.
Here's hoping they might add a Vita version as a later stretch goal - or perhaps even Vita and PS4 ports of the first two games.
Will the gacha machines be in? This is very important to whether or not I back this project.
The rewards from $160 onwards include a set of 20 capsule toy tickets as a bonus in-game item, so probably.
Also, the game has already been funded. Now to see how quickly the initial stretch goals get knocked off...

The original jacket and official dinner invites (all $10,000 rewards) are gone already. Probably eaten up by devs who's childhood dreams were to work on Shenmue 3 and this is the next best thing.
