In that same vein, didn't the Second Inquisition really start to get traction after they hacked Schrecknet? However, one of the Nosferatu who worked on Schrecknet managed to get all the nuclear launch codes even back when he was mortal. If the SI wants a cyber war, give them a cyber war. Few people would make a move against someone who can turn their own nukes against them.
https://whitewolf.fandom.com/wiki/Ge...rucible_of_God which also involves the reawakening of the Antediluvians, which throws a wrench in quite a bit, but really, it's all a matter of kine pride vs. kine self-preservation. It's like in Vampire Bund, when the humans are suddenly super negotiable when they realize that that the global economy is sustained by vampires. Obviously, vigilantes and angry peasants don't really care about the economy, but those guys are also not as well-equipped. In terms of sun-resistant gear, would a black-ops-style suit work? I'm actually not sure with VtM vampires because, according to the Mandarin's experiments in Bloodlines, the part of sunlight that actually causes damage is not UV. In fact, the only clan that would take damage from artificial sunlight would be the Ministry.

Problem with kindred nuking cities is that pretty much all cities are kindred territory

There's a difference between doing so and threatening to do so as deterrence, so says Civilization's nuclear Gandhi:
I'm finding this discussion about vampires as secret masters of the world rather bizarre, as if there are not a lot of other factions able ti oppose them in case excessively agressive actions
Because you are too young. Or too stupid. Or both.
Well, the point of deterrence even IRL is to prevent "excessively aggressive actions" from all sides.
Typical White Wolf writing (especially the older stuff); Every faction is the only faction calling the shots behind the scenes in their book. The Catholic Church probably has more supernatural creatures/people controlled by supernatural creatures than regular human members, especially in the upper echelons. Heck, Vampire alone probably accounts for half of all major historical figures, from Cain (obviously) on down.

Are we able to have a serious discussion on the Nictuku, or are they, as mentioned by my previous question about Vasilisa, more plot device than character? Oh, along with Lin Baloh, here is another Asian Kindred (like the bloodsucking sort, not the qi-sucking sort): https://whitewolf.fandom.com/wiki/Mayumi_Shibasaki

Since you're so curious about the setting, have you considered picking up the books to answer your questions instead of constant wiki-trawling?

For Mayumi Shibasaki, I probably could, but for the Nictuku, my question was literally if answers could even be found at all. Also, is this an oversight or just overlap? https://whitewolf.fandom.com/wiki/Path_of_Caine Adherents are called Noddists. https://whitewolf.fandom.com/wiki/Road_of_Heaven They are frequently referred to as Noddists or the Faithful. Calling someone a Noddhist might get confusing, then.

Probably editorial oversight, although realistically in a race of creatures that all trace their origins to the same person and the same city it's hardly unusual for obscure (remember, most Kindred never even realise Paths other than the Path of Humanity exist) ideologies to crib names from the same source.

As for the Nictuku https://whitewolf.fandom.com/wiki/Nictuku#Embraces all I got from it, based on "They prefer these youths just at the cusp of adulthood, the blurry line between child and adult. The Hungry possess a great eeriness, though few see them long enough to put a finger on why. They are wide-eyed, their skin too perfect, their teeth too white, their fingers too long and graceful. Both their hunger and their beauty are inhuman." is that Absimiliard the Nosferatu Antediluvian wants his personal assassination force to be an army of undead lolis (and shotas). Truly unliving la vida loca.
The only actual kid-vampire I can recall is Nicolai, and that was an emergency embrace to save him.
There is a certain irony that while Kindred try their best to masquerade as kine as needed, the Risen often try to masquerade as Kindred as needed.
2 questions. One of them is for Bloodlines 2, but given that that's in torpor, asking it here is really no different than asking it in the games thread:
Is the Kindred playing with the corpse puppets a very experienced Toreader or a very inexperienced Tzimisce?
Secondly, from personal experience, what was your worst/most unlucky VtM run? I ask because I often call Shiki a VtM run where the characters were set up so poorly that only 2 managed to get past the crappy starter town, one of them being the Coterie's Prince or rather Princess.
Mr. Damp's clan is unconfirmed but he's an Anarch
My first VtM campaign (which was also my first TTRPG experience, as it happens) included a player who wore a fedora indoors and a ST who was literally learning the rules on the fly.
It was an interesting experience, while it lasted.

Oh, you'd probably have liked him, LLL. He kept talking about his old character he'd been forced to retire, a little girl Malkavian that never spoke and drove people insane because.

1. I'll assume that you mean the player has a fedora, not the character.
2. ST acronym meaning please?
3. Well, if he already retired the character, then it's kind of a moot point for the case that you experienced.
