感情が希薄な女性で、ハリエットに対しては少々厳しめに接している。一方でハリエットの監視役という側面も あるようで、ハリエットの突飛な行動には振り回されることもある。
その正体は、ロレンツが作り上げた聖典・トライテンの偽典「ミラビリス」。胸部に本体が埋め込まれており、その力を発揮すると「トライテン」に匹敵する能力を得る。また口調も一 人称が「僕」になり、性格もやや饒舌になる。だが贋作ゆえか何らかの欠陥を抱えているらしく、魔力の供給が 落ち込む描写がある。その誕生の経緯から、ひびきを「姉さん」と呼ぶ。
Lorenz Trendel (CV: Kiuchi Hidenobu)
両親を失っているハリエットの保護者。魔術師。ハリエットからは「パパ」と呼ばれている。
性格はやや楽観的で、自ら動くことをよしとしないところがある。ハリエットについては大事に思っている様子 があり、冷徹さは垣間見えない。コーバック・アルカトラスが作ったといわれている聖典・トライテンを追及し ていた魔術師であり、また前職は教会の神父でもあった。10年前に数多くの同胞を失い、自身も死亡したとさ れていたが、その研鑽は偽典・ミラビリスを完成させるまでに至った。

From what I gathered about this series, I believe it has something to do with some connections with the Caubac Alcatraz's Holy Scripture Triten, and Lorenz (a Magus and Priest) and Sunao (that blond friend of Hibiki and Chikagi is actually an agent that works for the Holy Church) are looking for it or something.

I apologise for ressurecting this thread, I am VERY late to checking out Hako but does anyone have another link to Volume 2? That website seems to be dead.
I've heard the original website for Mahotsukai no Hako is down, and from what I can tell, that seems to be the case. Was it ever archived or translated or was it just the manga and CDs - which seem to be different at least judging by the lack of any talking cellphones from what I remember of the manga which is apparently an adaptation the CDs and not the website
