Fate/Grand Order Gameplay Discussion (CONTAINS SPOILERS)

I had another delusion I needed to share.

Thinking about how borderline useless poison/burn/curse effects were before Koyanskaya of Darkness, I realized that they could have actually rolled the "Arts/Buster/Quick vulnerability" package of debuffs into the poision/burn/curse paradigm. It would have fit quite well! The colors could even have been adjusted a bit.

Were this the case then obviously it would look something like this...

Burn --> Buster vulnerability
Poison --> Quick vulnerability
Curse --> Arts vulnerability

These are the ones that feel most thematically appropriate. In fact, they feel thematically appropriate enough that it almost surprises me this wasn't done.

I suppose just another notch in the belt for DW in terms of missed opportunities.

Aozaki, you may want to use the Kadoc CE instead since it's 5% Bond Up and +25 FP. Wouldn't worry about MC XP since new outfit is plugsuit aside from stun.

Since you mentioned it, I decided to go look it up and make a count.

There are 8 Quick NPs that inflict curse.
There are 8 Buster NPs that inflict curse.
There are 4 Arts NPs that inflict curse.

I suppose this could be construed as a problem. Unless they'd be willing to change NP effects.

Yes, but even more than this, almost all Servants whose kit is centered on curses are Quick based. Douman has NP AND two of his skills inflict curses. Sith, Douman and Dantes have a curse damage amplifier. Molay has a skill that increases his damage against cursed enemies. Gogh whole kit is about quick cards and curses manipulation.
The only Arts Servant that is really centered on curses is Chiyome.

Chiyome has been done so badly that it would be perfectly in character for her kit to stack Quick vulnerability when her NP and only steroid are Arts.

Isn't Salome curse focused as well? Maybe the best curse unit if you got enough taunts, really.

Honestly though, you don't need Waver or Plugsuit. Any 50% charger and MC work provided both Habenyan are NP2 and have max Skill 2 + Append Skill 2.

It'd be nice if the 20% gauge a Servant got from an Arts chain multiplied by how many of their cards were in that chain.

So, with anni around the corner, anyone wanna speculate what the next broken support will look like? It's probably going to be Quick, and the only thing Quick needs is a tool to enable looping that's not as painful as Skadi. Since I doubt we're getting Green Castoria and cards-give-np-directly has already been done, what other design space do they have to explore? Card manipulation maybe? Make any Servant green Artoria? Doubling down on crits perhaps? Something more outlandish, like brave chain buffs?

Double crits(Each card absorb up to 20 stars for 200% crit chance)! NP crits! NP double crits!

Any Quick support should have some way to use stars for things other than crits. Kinda like Jane.

Target Servant gain 5% NP charge for every Star they produce.
