Type-Moon always had its team of Servant researcher separate from the writers. It was only Kiyomune Miwa for /stay Night and /EXTRA, but for /Grand Order they added Ryou Morise and maybe more people.
The job of the Servant researcher is to read a lot of material and then pass on a report to the story writer/character creator. The official claim for the plagiarism case is that Dioscuri's researcher (Ryou Morise) passed on the book's excerpt untouched, and Sakurai, unaware that the text was unaltered from the source, put it up on the profile, also untouched. Then Twitter discovered it and thanks to that, DW discovered, changed the text and made their apology post.
After the company's apology post, Ryou Morise made his own apology post on his personal Twitter/website. And Sakurai herself just tweeted the company's apology post without writting her own apology post. And that's the whole case so far.
Morise being a Servant researcher is not new information, actually. It's been written on his Twitter bio for at least 11 months now. I know because I was easily able to find the information when I was researching the Danganronpa 3 writers.

Also, tbh, I personally have trouble reconciling some parts of the Dioscuri's profile with Sakurai's style to make servants. In particular, the whole deal to make Castor an avenger strikes me more as a Higashide idea rather than Sakurai. I can see them be a collab work between the two though

Her NP is called Amenohoko, which is the name of the spear Izanami and Izanagi used to fish the islands of Japan out of the primordial sea

The servants have a discussion about it, but they come to a consensus that it must be linked to minor divinities since she's not so strong, and Emiya Alter says that the lance she wields represents the Amenohoko, but is similar to a "Copy" made by Magecraft since is not that strong. I though she was Izanami too, but I don't know what think now

At this point it's just weird. TM has this much of an opportunity to bring up something Tsukihime-related, and they choose not to. At least make one of her attack animations Akiha 623b which is also called 'momiji', give me something. You're gonna rip off King of Fighters for BB but your own very child is a stranger?
