I'm sure more are on the way.
now i wait for the profile of pretender Eliza to see how TM can ruin a potentially fun class further by diluting it with joke alts and special cases.

Nah, this is exactly how the class is supposed to be used.
Like I said, it's not the transhumanism I object to so much as it being forced on everyone without their getting a say in it. There's a world of difference between sewing machines and something that fundamentally and irreversibly transforms our existence, and people should at least get a chance to say "no" to it if they don't want a part of it.

Well, that's not something you hear everyday.
So not counting Pretender Liz' circumstances, when it comes to Water Margin's Stars of Destiny: 2 down, 106 to go? (Not including every other character in the book or spin-offs/remakes of course)
With them, anyway. We still have to account for the mystery shadows who've been acting as the masterminds, and I don't recall anyone in Water Margin being able to manipulate souls like they're doing here.
And it figures that Moriarty/Bael was behind this new Phantom fusion. She must've been too difficult to control compared to Yan Qing (that, and she'd have never survived Jeanne Alter's sharp tongue).

Why are we not supposed to count Liz anyways?
They literally have a Xian who can casually use Yellow Turban xian arts in the novel. Note that this Yellow Turban is not to be confused with Zhang Jiao's version, which is massively inferior to this.

In fact, the Yellow Turban robot showing up in the prologue might just be a hint, or a reference.

Do they? In that case, what do they want Guda's soul so badly that they'd be behind two different Halloween events for? There's no way in hell that it's the Alien God trying to preemptively neutralize us given that it barely sees us as a threat, and I can't imagine any other being that would go out of its way to attack Guda's soul specifically.
I'm not saying Luo Zhenren is the mastermind. You asked about powerful individuals in Water Margin, and Luo Zhenren is that person. He taught Gongsun Sheng - the strongest member of the 108 to use both Xian arts and martial art. He is also a Xian of mysterious origin higher tier than Taigong Wang (but below the top tiers) and was pretty much a secret boss in the novel who can steamroll everyone if he chose to. Either him or Gongsun Sheng are fitting to be implemented as servants or act as powerful adversaries.
I don't consider seasonal events as having much consequences to the main plot minus a few hints towards some future stuffs.
Pretty much.
