Shame that we'll have to wait for tomorrow for Skull's comments on it since he already spent the final thought about Richard for the day.
Thankfully I am from the future and so it's already January 2nd for me.

Unfortunately I don't have anything of particular note to say, as almost all of the lines are of things we already knew. It is interesting that Fate Richard claims to have known about the story of Beowulf which flies in contrast to what I said the other day.

To be fair, assuming that the translation of "brothers" is accurate, he could easily be comparing him to all three of John, Henry and Geoffrey. Any of which could be seen as analogous to Nobukatsu.

I mean, I don't disagree but I was responding to a question about the kings from the Norman period specifically.

You know we've had a lot of kings (and women who were thought to be kings) but not a whole lot of historical queens actually which is a bit odd

Well, we can rule out Henry first of all, since Nobu Jr is a younger brother. I think John is probably the most likely, given what Nobukatsu's personality is like.

Plus out of them John is generally the most well-known.

Enkidu fully remembers SF, huh. I guess it's either because the memories are stored physically in his body and thus always follow from the Throne or he can withdraw records from the planet like he does with weapons.
I wonder if that'll come up in any potential SF collab event, like the Fate/Zero fixfic stuff.

This tbh. I've been disappointed that she was never brought in as an Avenger.

Playing LB7 in NA also reminded me of La Malinche and while she wasn't a Queen, goddamn is her life interesting.

    Also

My Room 6 (if you have Emiya) That bowman flaunting his skills at the kitchen... Hmm... Oh, heh, so that's what his deal is.
What did he mean by this?

They talked a lot about Cortes, and he was mentioned as far back as Babylonia, so I've always wondered if Nasu has or had some sort of specific idea for him. Regardless I would really like to see Malintzin because unlike Cortes, she represents a historical niche that FGO hasn't really covered yet.

That is Morgan? I am acquainted with a lake faerie but she shines with a completely different light. Tis as if rather than belonging to the lake, she belongs to Britain's... Nay, I shall refrain from tactless inquiry. We are in the divine presence of the faerie queen. That shall be enough to warm mine heart.
Maybe this was already made clear and I missed it but does this imply Nimue and Vivian as not the same person after all?

Don't think so? It's just more Morgan schizoing out, or like a smaller fragment of her

What I mean is that Richard questioning the scale of his Nimue compared to Vivian (Morgan) is making me question if they are the same in Fate or not. The only mention of Nimue as the Lady of the Lake in Fate (as far as I can remember) is when Holmes says she is Lancelot's mom and also called Vivian in LB6.
I need to know if that man was just yapping, maybe they're distinct existences. As far as we know, even when Morgan takes on the Vivian persona she doesn't literally split. Maybe Nimue is just one of Morgan's Forest Children or something.

Could be her presence in the world had reduced massively due to the depletion of mystery and all that so all he has experience with is a degraded remnant. Prelati did talk about how the lake peeps couldn't leave the lake anymore in modern times either.

I think Emiya didn't do that.

I though Richard's Nimue was like...a bunrei? Is basically an undine unless she is hidding her true form or can't be seen in the human texture.
