(Needless to say, her friends laughed heartily at those words, and a fight broke out shortly thereafter.)


However, what came to stand in her way in this case was not pure innocence, manners, or anything of the sort.
More than a beautiful carnivore, there was a natural bombshell of a girl—a simple, dimwitted girl (the latter of which was self-proclaimed) by the name of Charlotte Corday (swimsuit).


"Are you putting on a character of me? You're acting, right? Hell, you're even a Caster!!"


Thus, the fate of these two were firmly interlocked, and as a result, they eventually became friends.


"How about the left half is mine, and the right half is yours, what do you think about that?" (Anastasia)
"Sounds good to me!" (Corday)


"This is not good at all", "this is really bad," they would yell as they were being chased by the Chaldean police, but for now this was something to come much later on.

Also, reading the translation, I find it interesting that Rhongomyniad was Morgan's holy weapon, and Artoria Caster had to convert the Rhongo cannons to Excalibur cannons to use them. Like, I wasn't unaware that was the case, but still it's different to read it myself.

On a similar note, even if I knew the events thanks to summaries, I didn't expect Barghest's segment to be so heartbreaking. Really liked Mashu as well in that part, and Lancelot & Gawain's compliments made her growth feel even more tangible.

Da Vinci's part was better than what I imagined as well.

We, the players, do actually know that da Vinci Lily's lifespan is incredibly short. Her materials profile censors it, but there was a screw-up in the files where we received Bond 6 info from her.
Her mats stated

Young girl Da Vinci is more of a homunculus, a type of golem, than a Heroic Spirit and has completely taken over the role of Da Vinci.
Without a need for a Master, she can carry out her actions almost as if she were a human being.
However, her lifespan's ■■, ■■■■■■■■■■■■■.
■・■■■■■■■■・■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■.

Which her leaked Bond 6, which was not censored, clarified as

Spoiler:

"However, her lifespan's very short, only about a year, then her functions will cease entirely."

Of course, the in-story player character most likely has no clue that da Vinci is such a fleeting being.

Looks like Sion's remark at the end of LB6 refers to that.

And I guess being able to resolve the Lostbelts before the inevitable happens is just a pipe dream now, and Solomon-esque chapter is going to be fought without her.
