Pretty cool fact, actually, though he's definitely not the only rather interesting or far-flung Byzantine relative. They really liked marrying their princesses off to foreign royalty/nobility.

Did he actually do that? If so, TM honestly goofed.
I think it might be a reference to his rivalry with Pompey, who conquered and controlled much of the Eastern Roman territories that the Byzantines sat on.

The line is actually like this:

So if I don't get it wrong, Caesar is pointing out how Byzantine, while related to Rome is different in the core. So he believes Constantine XI's claims of being a Roman Emperor is cute.

On the contray Quirinus will definitely recognize him as Roma though given his interaction with Boudica.
Quirinus recognizes almost everyone as Roma, so it doesn't soften the blow.
Its quite sad though Constantine is a Roman buffer but the other emperor question his status as Roman, poor Constantine.

According to atlas, the ones with lines for him are : Caesar, Zenobia, Medb, Martha, Europa, Salome, and Galatea
I should probably check what those lines are and add to the reddit post

Zenobia's and Galatea's are her lines for all Romans. Medb's for the list of man she'd be down to bang. Martha's is for all Catholics. Europa you should you know by know. Salome is her line for kings.
Only Ceasar has something Constantine-specific.
But Constantine is an Orthodox Christian
The line is for all deeply devote Christian Servants, i.e. saints and priests (Amakusa, Caren, Jeanne, Summer Jeanne, George). If I remember correctly Constantine is (almost) considered a Saint by the Orthodox church.
