ye I know, it's just prior to release I was hoping for lore drop (true) given the idea of having a joke explanation for a new class that barely has Servants as is doesn't sit well with me. This is summer though, so I should've expected this.
But the Pretender class has a serious explanation, Holmes gives it on LB6. If anything the Moon Cancer class is the one class that is long overdue for a proper explanation besides BB-chan, the one BB-chan cut in a backgroound deal with the devs and two intruders not BB-chan approved.
No you're missing my point, I know the Pretender class has a serious explanation considering I referenced Nasu's own detailed explanation given in his interview. I'm just saying the third Pretender being a joke is a bit dumb. The Lady Avalon concept we're given doesn't even fit with how Nasu explained the class. But it's summer, so whatever.
Also Moon Cancer should have never left Extra so idgaf about it tbh.
Arthur has new my room line where he says he found L and R.

I guess that confirms it wasn't about Kama and Kiara.

https://lapithae.tumblr.com/post/692...thats-wrong-noAh- Merlin? Wait, that's wrong? No, there's no mistaking that appearance-- 'I'm thinking of something else?' 'Completely?' Is that so... you're not Merlin, but 'Lady Avalon'? I... see... Lady Avalon. Then I apologize for so rudely mistaking you for someone else, Lady. Uhh... No, that's quite enough of that, Merlin. Do you understand? I crossed between worlds like you asked. I've even managed to discover L and R, but I still need to know-- ah, she's running! Oh jeez... Merlin...
I just want Cath Palug as a playable character. And I don't really like the Proto characters, so I'd like it if Lady Avalon had something more going for her.
It comes from this line from the Noble Phantasm section:
Granted, I've never played a Fire Emblem game before but a quick glance at the JPN wikipedia says that the title of the franchise references a reoccurring macguffin in the games called the “炎の紋章” so I'm leaning towards it not being an intentional reference but I dunno, needs a FE player really to confirm or deny.「赤い騎士」のルーツは制御されざる混沌であり、炎を象徴するという。
