Yeah, I’m just playing with the event’s terminology. After the main story is over, each writer wrote a fluff bonus scene called a sequel story, and I’m translation all of those. Meteo, however, decided to be mean to me and make his sequel story a follow-up to one of his earlier fluff scenes that no one bothered translating, so I have to throw that in my schedule.

Shuten related to Orochi was already mentioned in Shimosa wasn't it
So orochi=vritra=shuten and indra=susanoo=raikou. Syncretism strikes again

I was exagerating but susanoo is Indra and raikou is compared to the former a lot.
Raikou is Gozu Tennou's child, and Gozu Tennou is the deity Indra is syncretised with. I don't know about Susanoo but exaggerations for no reason are a bit dumb.

I haven't read the new Interlude yet, since I just woke up. But we already had some hints about that in Chiyohime's Interlude. She calls Shuten "Ibuki Douji" and says that she is the daughter of the Great God Ibuki. Some strands attribute that when Yamata no Orochi was defeated by Susanoo, he fled to Mount Ibuki, and became another divinity, which some accept as the Ibuki Daimyoujin himself, and that Shuten was his son with a human. As I said I didn't read it yet, but I imagine it must be a case similar to Raikou's, maybe, although in Chiyohime's Interlude Ibaraki still treats Shuten as someone who was born as a Divinity and being that came from Buddha.

What's Kama's interlude about? Besides briefly traumatizing Gudao with teen parenthood.
Pretty much in character. Chaldea is concerned that MC is overworked and about to drop dead tired, so they planned to let him/her rest. Kama interfered first and gave him/her a good rest in heart, body and soul by going through illusions and adventures. But she wasn't able to hold herself when MC rests completely at ease with her and is about to burn his/her tiredness away literally, so Parvati's security which is made for such occasion booted up, summoning three pairs of love bird, Xiang family, Sigurd family and Orion family to show Kama different kinds of love to calm(as in irritate her) for her to cool down.
Eventually MC thanked Kama for her efforts as he/she is completely refreshed, and Kama mused that she is attracted to his/her kindness and love (non romantic one) which is similar to what Kama was before getting burnt. She warns MC to be careful next time since Parvati's security might not work all the time.

If I may ask for some further detail, I've heard Kama's wife Rati and her incarnation as Krishna's son Pradyumna receive mentions. What was the context?
