I think that they’re doing it to try and extend the content that they have because there’s not gonna be another chapter for probably another year. (Please don’t pretend that 5.5 was anything but a event and an excuse to get rid of/make summonable, Ashiya)
But I think for a community and fan base dividing up story stuff into parts is good for discussion and engagement and speculation.
Look at Project Moon’s Library of Ruina, or Ryukishi’s VNs.

I like them splitting LB6 into parts. I've had fun theorizing and discussing, I feel it drives community engagement up more. And each part is as long as a normal chapter anyway, so it's like we're getting a new chapter 3 months in a row.
So like, Percival's name in his profile is apparently written as "パーシヴァル・ド・ゲール" which I'm guessing is meant to be "Percival de Gael"...which would be inaccurate since he's not Gaelic. IIRC his actual French subtitle as per Chrétien was supposed to be "li Galois" (the Welshman).
