It was crafted for Herc, then he left it (?) with Adrastus in Argos, then Adrastus lent it to Tydeus during the war of the Seven Against Thebes. Supposedly it was Marmyadoise that allowed Tydeus to solo the 50 men that ambushed him.
Tydeus being the father of Diomedes, this adds to the Greeks vs. Trojans theme.

Bors the younger has been mentioned in passing more than a few times already, so for no other reason that’s my only shot in the dark at who the knight is.
I still have a hard time seeing the girls as the three Morgan personalities even though it seems likely tbh, but that’s just me being stubborn cuz they all look way too different in addition to the Apo design.

If we're just going off based on aesthetics I can buy them being the three Morgan personalities. "Magnificent warrior maiden" on the left, "innocent fairy" on the middle and "brutal witch" on the right. Though I still find it unlikely that they wouldn't assign the Apocrypha design to any of the personalities.
That said, the first thing that really jumped to mind when I saw them was how the helm of the short one resembled Saber Alter. Not that I think that is Artoria, but they are evoking that aesthetic for a reason. Could be Mordred, could be someone else, but I do think there's a connection there.
Come to think of it, Emiya and Prisma Illya are in summer, so this event should have interesting interactions. I forget, does Chaldea Prisma Illya know that Shirou is the Red Man?
They can always add that in, seeing as Prisma itself has it revealed to her.

No it didn't, it created this problem by saying Magical Knights in 5th century britain is perfectly fine but in 8th century continental Europe is too unbelievable.
Not really a problem because it has been established that Britain, as an island and possibly proximity to Avalon, retained Mystery after continental Europe entered an era without Mystery. Or whatever.
I mean, Bradamante and Astolfo (edit: and Mandricardo) are both real and they each carry a crapton of magical items, and Charlemagne is a thing in Link (if split in two), why wouldn't the rest of the Paladins be real?
