So, what's the story of the latest event thus far?
At a cursory glance:
Kiichi Hogen has come to Chaldea to confront Ushiwakamaru to answer for her crime of looking at secret war strategy from their legend. Ushiwakamaru then retaliates by claiming it was commited by her older self, Yoshitsune, and her being summoned during her youth bears no responsibility of such act. Unconvinced, Kiichi pulled out Uchide no Kozuchi to force Ushiwakamaru's Saint Graph to rapidly grow into Yoshitsune's, but something goes wrong with the Saint Graph, and Yoshitsune(?) snatches the mallet away and goes hammering spree on Servants before going to a series of micro-singularities, causing Guda's group to turn into chibi. With Kiichi's aid, Guda's team is pursuing Yoshitsune(?).
That's the gist of it. And chibified Ushi joins us near the beginning, seemingly got separated from Yoshi(?).
1st Singularity: Jalter and Janta switch bodies.
2nd Singularity: Liz stands in the way, and a jab at no Halloween events.
3rd Singularity: More body-switching between related Servants, except Waver who becomes younger. (Alex and Iskandar, Medea Lily and Medea, Irisviel and Illyas).
4th Singularity: Dioscuri and Nobus, with Dioscuri becomes constellation by their own will.
5th Singularity: Heracles becomes Megalos.
And flashbacks occur at the beginning of each chapter up to 4th, chronicling the history between Kiichi and Shanaou until the crime is commited.

Around 1000 years ago, Ushiwakamaru read the Six Secret Teachings without permission. Kiichi was not supposed to let that happened because one read is enough to give you supernatural powers, and the teacher hasn't stopped being salty about it since then. She had stopped giving chase after Yoshitsune's death because going all the way to the underworld to punish her pupil would be too much of a hassle, but since Ushiwaka manifested as a Servant, Kiichi felt the need to invade Chaldea and dish out the long awaited punishment. Ushiwaka tries to get away with the flimsy excuse that her status as Ushiwaka means she doesn't have concrete memories of her later actions as Shanaou or Yoshitsune. Kiichi decides to humor her bullshit and hits her with the Uchide no Kozuchi, a Japanese wish-granting device, known mostly Issun-boushi's usage of making small things big and big things small. This was supposed to make Ushiwaka grow into Yoshitsune to be fairly punished, but instead made her grow into Kagekiyo. Kagekiyo steals the Uchide no Kozuchi, miniaturizes Cu Alter, Jason and Benkei along the way, and flees to a Singularity.
Jumping into the Singularity (with Medb, Kiichi and the Mini trio) first puts us in France, where Kagekiyo tested the Uchide no Kozuchi on Janta, granting the wish of letting her become an adult. This experiment shows that the hammer can freely grant wishes by taking things away, but to grant wishes by giving things, it needs to take away from someone else. So Janta became Jalter and Jalter became Janta. Jalter starts a fight with Janta over wanting her body, and after we violently calm the two down, Kiichi's spell reverse fixes the changes with the Jalters. She can't to that to the Mini because she doesn't have what was taken away from them. At the end we found Mini-Ushiwaka and use her as our compass to locate Kagekiyo's hammer.
Crossing a sea of haze takes us to Slovakia. During the trip, Fujimaru daydreams of Kagekiyo's edgy Avenger speech, while Kiichi flashbacks to her telling Shanaou that she needs to got out there and make real friends. Arriving there, the Cjeste Castle is all decorated for Halloween, giving Fujimaru a panic attack. Mash comforts them by telling it's not October and that Eliza isn't there, until Eliza appears and explains that the Uchide no Kozuchi granted her wish of making Halloween last the entire year. She then fights us to repay the favor, because Kagekiyo asked her to buy time so she can experiment some more with the hammer. Once we beat her, she realizes she's still needs to gather a lot more Halloween Power until Autumn, and promises that this year she'll provide a Halloween Event so special that it'll make all past Elizas look like nothing. Fujimaru doesn't respond because they believe saying anything would jinx it into actually happening, but they make clear in their inner thoughts that they don't believe they've seen the last Eliza yet. Jason asks for paid vacation on Autumn but Fujimaru firmly rejects it. After some side banter, Kiichi says she no longer considers Ushiwaka her pupil. Benkei reminds her that her character is too deeply associated with being a teacher, so if she relinquishes that, she's at risk of losing the foundation that allows her to remain as a Servant, and she counters that by saying Fujimaru is her new pupil now.
Speculation side-rant
The next trip takes us to Australia. When crossing the haze, Fujimaru dreams with Kagekiyo again, asking if she's Ushiwakamaru, while Kiichi flashbacks to her telling Ushiwaka she's finished teaching her everything she knows about the sword. Kiichi tells her pupil to do whatever she wants with this knowledge (preferably founding her school) as long as she doesn't rush to her death. Ushiwaka responds with the most tone-deaf "Thank you, master, I'll use this to commit genocide." Kiichi warns her to change her ways before she meets her tragic, hollow, and dreadful end, but Shanaou insists she needs to help her brother in Kamakura. In Australia, Kagekiyo tried to buy time by making Ana, Medea Lily, Alexander, Sitonai and Prillya grow into Gorgon, Medea, Iskandar, Iri, and Fire Iri respectively, shrinking their big counterparts like it happened with the Jalters (except for Pryllia, who grew into Fire Iri by shrinking Elmo II into Waver). Gray is just there, accompanying Waver. Alexander asks for one big fight to test drive his future body and Kiichi fixes everyone after that's done. Also, from this chapter on, Kiichi is always pampering and praising Fujimaru for the most minor things despite having never properly praised Ushiwaka before, and Ushiwaka is too tone-deaf to realizes she's doing it on purpose to spite her ex-pupil.
Next area is the sky, above the Mediterranean. Nothing new on the Fujimaru/Kagekiyo part. The Kiichi flashback is Shanaou convincing Kouju to give her the Six Secret Teachings and Kiichi catching them. Shanaou insists she did nothing wrong because she's willing to commit all evils necessary to help her brother. Out the haze, Medb asks what's a tengu and Kiichi explains they're Buddhist priests/Shugendou practitioners who got turned into mountain Elementals because they fell off the Buddhist path. Our enemies in the sky are Dioscuri and the Oda siblings. The former are fighting because the Uchide no Kozuchi is granting their wish, and the latter because of Nobunaga famously saying he descended from the Taira clan (note: Nobbu's claim doesn't necessarily reflects reality). The fight gets tough because Dioscuri's wish is regression to the past, they eventually get rewinded back into being gods, but then it abruptly ends when the reach their final goal of being rewinded back into being the constellation. Once that happens, Nobu decides she already had her fair share of fun and leaves. Kiichi says they can get the twins back once they retrieve Kagekiyo's hammer (though I wish we could just leave them there).
Today's episode was New York. The Kagekiyo dream this time is interrupted by Dantes, who gets called a watchdog and attacks Kagekiyo. No Kiichi flashback. The enemy is Heracles turned giant, bigger than Agartha's Megalos. We decided that the only way to beat him is to shrink with Kiichi's spell and do the Issun-boushi trick of entering the enemy's mouth to kill him from the inside. Ushiwaka and Medb bicker on the way and Kiichi is happy to see her ex-pupil finally got friends, despite both "friends" denying it. The operation is successful and opens a hole in space, to a Singularity within the Singularity, where we're expecting to have the final battle.

Did kiich have the mallet in myth? isnt that the isshun bosshi mallet?
In myth, it was owned/used by Daikokuten, Issunboushi, Momotarou, and a few unnamed humans and onis. The "main" user would be Daikokuten imo, but Issunboushi is a close second.
It appears (or at least the legends about it are referenced) in Heike Monogatari I think.
Im mainly asking if Kiich has ANY connection to it or not, cause this feels like a way to make issun bosshi not appear
