So what makes Morgan a fairy is inheriting Vivian's authority. Is it authority or capital-A Authority like a god's?

The word used is 権能, what we usually translate as upper case Authority.
If there's anything in the chapter to dispute that, then it would be lower case.

Out of curiosity, is there any deeper meaning to using 権能/Authority in the context of godly powers? Or is it just the Japanese equivalent of Portfolio or Domain?

Ever since I saw it be used in Campione as well, I've always wondered how two completely unrelated series used such a specific term to mean the same thing.

What’s the deal with Fairy Knight Galahad? Is she our Mash or Lostbelt Mash? If the former, how did she end up like that?

We landed on the Nameless Forest and everyone got amnesiac and separated. See week 3 of Fate/EXTRA for more details. Mash is taken by the fairies because a good way to prevent the child of prophecy from ringing the 6 bells and usurping Morgan is grooming their own evil child of prophecy and getting her to ring the 6 bells before Arthuria does. Basically, it's the MOTHER 3 plot, except we know when this one will get localized.
