For the moment I started doing it as an experiment. I don't know if I'll translate all of it or not, but here goes. This is the draft I'm working on. It's a rough draft though so it still needs to be edited and proofread of course.

Yep, I already told him so in private, but since comparing the two translations is actually a really good way to check the quality of his translation, it's absolutely not a loss of time.
I don't know what you all think, but I'm quite happy about his translation. If he can deliver that level of quality all the way through, that would be amazing.
Anyway, we decided to skip this chapter and keep CanonRap translation, since it's ridiculously high quality. It would be a waste of time to translate all of chapter 0, the part he did is enough to give him feedback.
Keep in mind that it is his first novel translation, he does a good amount of fansub and want to read Garden of Avalon as much as I do, so it's an experiment : he want to see if he can do it before commiting himself to the task.
So please don't hesitate to give some feedback, that would be really helpful !
Follow up:
I tried working on it for a while to see how things would go, but I just can't spare the time to do it anymore (some IRL stuff came up), so I'll drop it. I hope someone else picks it up, it's a beautiful story.
(I'll keep it in a corner of my mind if I'm ever able to do it, but that's extremely unlikely to happen any time soon so don't count on it.)

We have a reddit post stating SCUFFED TRANSLATION and then its's written 02, so am to assume it is Chapter 02? But go down a bit and you'll see another EXCERPT from Chapter 02 translated by mewarmo99 and they don't match a bit, then what did mewarmo99 translated? Not from beginning?

Apparently there are only around 3 chapters left. I'm working on a PDF. If anyone would like to help with translating the last few chapters that would be a great help. It isn't much.
Not sure which translation you're referencing. Canon has translated something like 8 out of 100 total pages.

So, it appears a 'full' translation of Garden of Avalon has surfaced. For what it's worth it contains the various fragments posted here.
It's also one of the most bizarre fan-translation projects I've ever seen, with an overwhelming amount of fanart incorporated into the text, making read it quite a strange experience.
Partially MTL, as well? I'm not sure.
